I hope I did albinoism right, also sorry for the late update!
Also, Damian is a bit OOC...
Hope you like it!

~~~~~~~~~~~
I have albinism, specifically ocular albinism. Meaning my eyes are not as pigmented as regular people which sometimes makes my eyes appear a red color. Ever since I was young I had to wear sunglasses to protect my eyes since they were hypersensitive to light. The few times I didn't wear them other kids would scream and cry, running away calling me scary and a monster. Other than my eyes, I also have albino skin making my skin extremely sensitive and easily get sunburns. So I've basically lived most of my childhood life wearing long sleeved clothes, shades, hats and lots of sunscreen.
"I closed the windows." I heard Damian's voice as I was focused on playing with his dog.
"Hm? Oh thanks." I smiled and placed my shades on the table letting my eyes adjust to the light of the dimmed room. The windows were closed and covered except for one at the very top. There was also some "mood lights" on, as Dick likes to call them when its just the light bulbs on their dimmest setting.
Damian sat next to me as I continued to pet his lovely dog. "Aren't you such a good boi~ yes the best! Yes you are~" I cooed as Titus rolled onto his back.
"You're a good boy too." I told Damian in a teasing tone.
"Thanks." Damian replied and I laughed at his dry reply. I let Titus go do his own thing.
"Sorry sorry." I ruffled Damian's hair and got my phone to check the time.
I was older than Damian by almost a year, 10 months and 5 days to be exact. I got in the habit of teasing him in a slightly annoying way. The day passed as we just hung out doing random shit, from reading, and watching videos to sneaking into the kitchen to steal some candy and cookies.
"I'll come with." Damian said as we waited for Alfred to bring the car around. The sun was not yet set but it's better to go home while there is still daylight.
"You don't have to." I smiled as I fixed my clothes and cap.
"I want to." He shrugged as we walked to the car together. I angled my cap to block the sun and stepped into the vehicle.
"Where are your shades?" Damian asked as he got in as well, closing the door behind him.
"I think they're lost somewhere in that house of yours." I said, no really caring. "I have spares at home so no big deal." I told him.
"If I find it I'll give it back." He said.
"Well, yeah. Obviously." I smiled and he scoffed lightly pushing me as I teased him.
Alfred stopped in front of my apartment and Damian stepped out first, holding the door open for me. "God it's bright.." I mumbled using my hands to block the rays of sunshine.
"Close your eyes, I'll walk you over." I heard Damian's voice. He walked me across the street and into the lobby. "Thank you for walking me in." I told him as I got my elevator key scanner from my bag.
"No problem at all." Damian smiled as I scanned the card. "I'll call you later, or something?" He asked.
"Or something." I smiled as the elevator closed.
The next morning, more like afternoon, I got out of bed, and did my whole routine to wake up and turned on my tv to listen to whatever was on for background noise.
"Sir, is this girl someone special to you?" I turned to the tv and paused seeing a photo from last night of Damian walking me into the lobby. My face was blurred along with the building name but Damian, well it was obviously Damian in the image.
"Yes, she is." Damian answered the reporter.
The other reporters quickly tried to ask the next question but Damian left the podium after that. "Shit." I picked up my phone to call Damian when there was a knock on my door.
I looked though the little spy hole and saw it was Damian, and next to him was Bruce Wayne. I quickly picked up my shades and opened the door. "H-hello." I looked at the two of them.
"Could we talk?" Damian asked, "Alone?" He looked at his father.
Damian walked into my apartment and Bruce Wayne just smiled at me and waited in the hall way as I closed the door.
"Did you see the news?" Damian was the first to speak.
"Yes, sorry if it caused you any trouble." I told him.
"I should be the one apologizing, not you. They are going to bother you for a while and be very invasive so, if you want I can set you up at a hotel, or a different apartment all together, or something like that." Damian told me.
"You said I was special to you?" I asked him, "want to... elaborate?" I asked him.
"I think you are ... great, more than great. I uhm, a.. I like you, a lot. But if you don't feel the same, that's fine and I understand." He explained.
I smiled, "I also like you, a lot. I wouldn't mind going out on a date, tomorrow if thats good?" I asked him.
"Tomorrow is perfect." He smiled and also brought out something from behind him.
"Titus got to the glasses, so I got you new ones. Hope you like them." He said.
I took off the ones I currently wore and held the ones he bought me. "You didn't have to get such an expensive one.." I looked up at him and he was blushing. "I love it, thank you." I put it on and adjusted it slightly. "Hows it?" I asked Damian.
"You look great." He replied and I smiled kissing him on the cheek.
