I swiped the stolen passkey on the large computer, giving me access to the personnel file of all the scientists in that old lab.

I was taken as an Orphan and brought to a laboratory. They wanted to combine animal traits with humans in hopes to get the "perfect human." Many of us were genetically modified with different animals, birds, fish, bears, monkeys, wolves, etc. The project was abandoned after a year, and all of us were left to rot in cages. Most of the others went crazy and killed themselves, others didn't take well to the side effects and died from those. I was one of the lucky ones who lived. Somehow one of the other experiments escaped and they opened the cages for everyone so they could escape as well.

I on the other hand, wanted revenge, pay back, justice, whatever you wanted to call it. Those scientists all to satisfy their curiosity, took orphaned children, forced them to partake in these tests, knowing that no one would come looking for them. At the lab, before I escaped, I tried looking for the name of scientists that worked there, but could only find a few names and addresses. I found out the name of the company that the scientist worked at.

It's been about 2 months since I've started my revenge. So far, I have "paid back" about half the scientist who had experimented on us. I was currently living in Gotham, with a job in the company that hired the scientists. I was only a lobbyist so I never had much interaction with the scientists, but I was able to see their schedules on my monitors, and was able to choose the best time to make my move. Recently the scientists were getting nervous, able to connect the dots that their coworkers who have gone, "missing," all were included in the animal-human genetic experiments.

"Good morning, nice day today?" I smiled as one of the scientists walked in.

"Hey newbie." The scientist gives me some files. "Give this to Fred when he comes in, will you?" he asked.

"No problem sir. Mr. James is waiting for you in his office." I said collecting the files and he nodded, scanning his name card and going upstairs. (I have no idea how lobby jobs work..)

"Tonight, a member of Gene Co. has been killed in a robbery gone wrong." I watched the news as it was reporting on the scientist. I made sure to kill each of the scientist in a different way, using different methods. Robbery, overdose, car crash, heart attacks, disease, etc.

I turned off the tv, and went into my bedroom, taking out a notebook, and a red pen, and made a red X over another page. "... 5 more to go..." I said. The next 5 are pretty high up in the company, arriving before me, and leaving after me, so meeting them was very hard. I looked at the address of one of them, seeing it was close to where I lived.

"Another scientist?" Dick asked looking at the bat computer.

"The only thing they have in common is they work in the same company. They don't work on the same projects or the same floor." Jason said.

"Their past is locked up tight, but I think.. I can almost.. got it!" Tim said and articles and reports popped up, each with a red "Classified" stamped over it. 

"Genetic mutations... wow.." Dick commented reading through the reports pretty quickly.

"Here is the list of scientists on that project." Tim said pulling up the personnel file.

"Well, here's the connection." Jason said. "Any survivors from the experiment?" he asked Tim.

"A few." Tim said typing in a few more codes. Multiple pages popped up, some had images included, others didn't.
