"Don't worry guys, scans are all clear." I said flying through space.

"Race you back to base shorty!!" Lance yelled zooming past in red.

"No fair!" I yelled chasing after him. "Come on girl, we can beat him." I smiled, as we almost caught up with him, but he ended up winning. I sighed and his face appeared on my screen, and he was being all high and mighty.

"Rematch." I said. "I get a head start." I said.

"What?! No way!" he yelled.

"Hey, Red is the fastest one, I get 5 seconds." I said.

"No way, just admit it. Your big bro is just an awesome pilot." he smiled.

"Nah, your boyfriend is the best pilot." I teased.

"(Y/n), He's not my boyfriend!!" He yelled face blushing and I smiled.

I turned my lion around. "I'm going to go around one more time! Meet you back at home!" I said into the comms and turned my lion around to circle the area again. Making sure there were no asteroids or anyone in distress.

In case you were wondering, my name is (Y/n) McClain. I'm the younger sister of Lance McClain. While he pilots the red lion, I pilot the Orange lion, which represents Hope and Spirit. In the Voltron formation itself, I'm the core or the "heart" of the formation. The energy of the lions gets concentrated and distributed accordingly by Orange. Though they can still make Voltron without Orange, Orange is like that special limited edition piece in toy boxes. Its fine if you don't have it, but a lot better when you have it.

Suddenly, Orange powered down. "Huh.. hey what's wrong?" I asked and tried various buttons and switches, but nothing worked. I tried calling Lance and the others, but all I got in return was static.

"Did I use too much power in the race? But that's not possible.." I unbuckled myself and walked around. "Maybe something from an old battle?" I wondered and suddenly the ground started shaking. I made my way back to the pilot seat and saw a black hole had appeared.

"Nonononononononono!" I tried everything to not get sucked in, but it was too late. I closed my eyes not wanting to see what would happen to me.

I heard a voice, but not one I recognize. I felt lighter, so my armor must not be on me right now. "She's obviously human."

"She was in a robotic Lion Robin."

"That's not normal."

"Her blood work is human, I don't think she's a threat."

"Let's ask her, she's awake."

I opened my eyes, seeing 4 people. A woman who was bald and white, other 3 were male, all black hair. One had blue eyes, other 2 were wearing masks covering their eyes. The taller of the 2 masked ones had a blue bird thing on his chest, the other had an R on his left side of his chest.

"Can you speak?" The one with the R asked.

"Yeah, where am I?" I asked.

"Earth." the blue bird one said.

"Earth?" I asked and looked around and saw a window and walked over to it, and I indeed saw Earth, but I was in space.

"Where is she?" I asked turning to them.

"What?" The blue eyes one asked.

"My lion! Where is she?!" I asked.

"Calm down." the woman said to me. "I'll take you to her." she said.
