Bruce x Batmom p2

It's been about a week since I left. I moved to Star City, and even here, news of the millionaire Bruce Wayne breaking off his engagement was hot gossip. I'm glad I haven't shown my face, and even when I did go outside, I wore a mask and shades.

I sighed and sat on the couch, watching the news go over, again, the engagement, and the reasons behind it were unknown. "I wish Batman was the one who caught me and not Bruce." I sighed and got up to get something to eat. I placed a hand on my stomach as I entered the kitchen to make myself a sandwich. Recently, I've been feeling sick, I had a check up tomorrow with the doctor. I sat back down and changed channels to find something interesting to watch. 

I heard a knock on the door and opened it and was surprised to see it was Dick. "Finally tracked you down." he said smiling.

"Hey." I said and moved to the side, letting him in.

"Why did you guys break off the engagement?" He asked sitting down on the couch.

"... Don't worry about it." I said smiling. "Anyway, how's it being a cop?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I rather be a detective." He said smiling and I smiled in return and offered him some drinks.

"Water is fine." he told me, so I got him a cup of water.

"H-How's Bruce?" I asked quietly.

"Locked himself in his study, putting everything into work. He won't tell me or the others what happened, not even Alfred." Dick said sighing. 

"Why not give it another shot? I mean, whatever happened, you guys can overcome it, you guys always do." he said to me.

"Must be bad if you had to find me and beg huh?" I asked smiling looking down at my hands.

"Well, he won't eat, or sleep. Just... work." Dick said.

"Well, you should find someone else. He may have broken off the engagement, but it was my fault. I heard his ex, Selina, right?" I asked and he nodded. "He almost married her, male you should be talking to her, not me." I said looking at Dick.

"But.." he started and I shook my head.

"It's better this way." I said and gave Dick a hug. "You and your brothers are free to visit, if you want." I said quietly an the nodded, and walked out the door.

"I'm telling you, I don't think she was even cheating on Bruce to begin with." Dick said as he talked on the phone with Tim.

"What makes you think that?" Tim asked.

"Well, if she was cheating on him, wouldn't they be together right now? It's been a week, and there were no signs of a guy being at her place. No clothes, no mess, nothing." Dick said.

"That doesn't mean she wasn't cheating. He probably just hasn't been over to her place yet." Tim argued.

"Do you really think she'd cheat on someone?" Dick asked.

"No, she's not you." Tim said.

"Hey!" Dick said, offended.

"He's right." Jason chimed in.

"Who?" Dick asked.

"Replacement." Jason said.

"Well, what could we do to fix this?" Tim asked.

"First, we need to talk to Bruce, and see why he thinks (Y/n) was cheating on him." Dick said.

"Yeah, alright." Jason said sighing. "Be there in an hour." he said.
