Valentines Special! Part 2: Jason

"He calls me Princess, because I love watching all those movies about royalty and tv dramas with royals." Helen, one of my friends said giggling as we were talking about our significant others.

"That's cute! Mine calls me bumpkin, cause I love calling him pumpkin and so he gave me something cute and rhymed." Jane said next to me twirling her coffee around in the cup, smiling and gushing like an idiot.

"(Y/n), what about you?" Jane asked me.

"We don't really have any special nicknames, just the usual ones." I shrugged.

"That doesn't bother you?" Helen asked.

"Why should it? I'm fine with the things he calls me. They're sweet in their own way." I shrugged again.

~Jason's pov~

"Your girlfriend calls you Pumpkin?" I asked Roy.

"Yeah, cause my hair I guess." Roy said drinking his beer.

"What about you Dick?" I turned to him.

"I call Helen Princess." He answered putting another card on the table.

"I fold." Roy said putting his cards down.

"What about your nicknames?" Roy asked as I bet more money. (I have no idea how to play poker!)

"Don't have any. She calls me Jay and Jay-jay sometimes." I answered.

"Royal flush~" Dick smiled and I cursed throwing my cards on the table.

"New game." I said standing up to get myself another beer.

"Really? She doesn't mind that you don't call her anything?" Dick asked as I tossed him a beer.

"I don't think so." I said leaning against my kitchen counter.

"Well, with all the girls I've dated, I gave them each special nicknames. Some of them were the same, sure, but the meaning behind it. That's the important part." Dick said to me. "So, what were you planning for today?" Dick asked me.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Dude, today?" Roy said.

"What about it?" I asked.

"It's February 14th man, Valentines day?" Roy said.

"Oh fuck!" I groaned and shook my head.

"Forgot again?" Dick asked and I nodded.

"Didn't you other girlfriend break up with you because you forgot, for like 3 years in a row?" Roy asked.

"Gotta go guys." I said grabbing my jacket and leaving Dick's place.

I drove to the mall and went to buy some chocolates, and a cake. I then went to buy some roses, and then I went to buy a bear. I then bought some decorations and some candles and then went home to get started.

I put the cake and chocolates in the fridge. I threw the bear onto the couch and put the flowers on the table and quickly started on decorating. "What to do... what to do.." I thought looking at the candles. "Make a message? Or... make a path? An arrow? ..... a bat?" I sighed and ran my hand through my hair not knowing what to do.
