(2 months later)
"Big preggoooos." I rolled my eyes playfully, moving Maddie's finger away from my face.
"Yo ass look like you finna pop." Algee said, making me glare at him.
I'm now 9 months pregnant and could give birth at any moment. Shit getting scarier by the day but I'm ready.
"I'm team boy." Luke said, sitting down beside me.
"Right." Woody said, dapping him up.
"I just hope you ready to pay me." I said, shaking my head.
"What she talking about?"
"Me and Veronica made a bet. She betting 20 dollars it's a girl and I'm betting 20 dollars it's a boy."
"Really debating if I want to hop in on this." Dani said, looking like she was thinking about it.
I got up, walking, well wobbling to the kitchen because I got hungry.
I shook my head as I heard Dani said she was gonna bite Algee.
"How's everyone feeling tho? About life and shit." Maddie asked as I came back in the room with my food.
Just then Myles came down stairs with Camryn on his back. Forgot to mention that we were over Algee's house.
"What the hell are you eating?" Myles asked me, making everyone look at my plate.
"Strawberry ice cream with salad and cheese. It's actually really good tho." I said, nodding as everyone looked at me with the most disgusting look ever.
"Just hearing that made my stomach turn." Elijah said, shivering.
"I'm feeling pretty good about life right now, ya know? Career turnt as hell, money in my pocket, and I'm surrounded by people with good energy. I'm loving it." Keith said, putting his arm around Ryan.
"Shit I feel the same. I feel like we've all matured and we're doing a lot better than when we all first started." Bryshere said as we nodded in agreement.
"Oh I got a question." I said, putting my plate down. "Where do y'all think y'all would be if we didn't go through what we went through to get to where we are now?"
"To be honest I don't even know. I wouldn't have been half as motivated as I am now if I didn't go through my problems. Also, I wouldn't be as calm as I am now without everything so." Algee said, shrugging.
Algee really has calmed down from being angry all of the time. After one major argument that we will not speak of went down, Algee agreed to take a few anger management classes and now he's doing so much better.
"Actually everything in my life changed for the better. I never actually thought I would be here ya know? But I thank God for every little situation that brought me to these moments." Elijah said, as I nodded in agreement.
"Fashoo. I thank God for the people that I have around me. Without y'all, I still probably would be struggling with school, hell I probably would've dropped out by now. I thank God for my ups and downs and the unexpected blessings in my life." I said, putting my hand on my stomach. "I love y'all."
"We love you too boo." Maddie said, smiling at everyone.
Everyone stood up and gathered into a group hug.
"The big ass belly just stick out in front of everything." Myles said, making me smack my teeth.
"Keep playing, Imma take that 'uncle' title away." I said, pointing at him as he put his hand over his chest.
"Nigga I wish you would. You would have to fight me for that spot. Plus, the baby needs a cool uncle in his life." He said, making Algee look at him.
"So what am I? Chopped liver?"
"Yes my nigga." Myles said, stale facing Algee.
"Y'all must forgetting about us too?" Luke said.
"Right, we the uncles too." Bryshere said, nodding.
"I ain't even got anything to say. I'll most likely be the slow uncle and I'm okay with that." Keith said, shrugging.
"Let me try this." Woody said, grabbing my plate.
"The ice cream almost liquid now." I said, but he still didn't care cause he ate a spoon full.
He scrunched his face up, shaking his head, putting the plate down. "Nasty as hell."
"That's that weird pregnancy shit for ya." Bryshere said, shaking his head.
"Man, I walked in on V eating honey gold wings with chocolate syrup and pickle juice one day. I ain't never been so terrified in my life." I side eyes him, as he looked at me, shaking his head .
"That shit was good as hell tho." I said, nodding.
"Nah, her feelings be all over the place tho. Veronica was crying because a bird that was on top of her car flew away 'without saying goodbye'." Carmyn said, making me remember that moment.
"That bird was so pretty tho. Thought I had made a little birdie friend." I said, feeling a little sad because the bird was so pretty.
"Help her Lord."
