Adam's: POV
"Your rib is cracked, but there are no splinters. You haven't punctured anything." said Carlisle. "Yet." I replied. "Adam." he said low.
"It's breaking his bones now. It's crushing you from the inside out. Carlisle, tell him what you told me. Tell him." I replied. "Carlisle, tell me. It's alright." said Oliver.
"The fetus isn't compatible with your body. It's too strong. It won't allow you to get the nutrition you need. It's starving you by the hour. I can't stop it and I can't slow it down. At this rate, your heart will give out before you can deliver." replied Carlisle. "Then I'll hold on as long as I can and then." replied Oliver.
"Oliver. There are some conditions that even venom can't overcome. You understand?, I'm sorry." he said and went out. "Adam, I'm sorry." he replied. "I can't live without you." I said. "You won't. You're gonna have a part of me. He'll need you." replied Oliver.
"Do you honestly think that I could love it or even tolerate it if it killed you?" I asked. "It's not his fault. You have to accept what is." he said.
"Because you've given me no choice. Oliver, we're supposed to be partners. Remember? But you decided this on your own. You've decided to leave me." I yelled.
"Don't see it that way." said Oliver upset. "Well I have no other way to see it. 'Cause it's me who will lose you. And I don't choose that. I don't choose that." I replied and walked out.

"Dad, why can't you be happy for papa?" asked Lily. "That thing is about killing him." I said coldly. "He's not a thing, he's a baby, a happy baby." she replied. "You sound just like Rose now." I said.
"Do remember when Mary took me away from you, you thought you had lost me. You thought you'd never see me again." said Lily. I looked into her dark eyes and I knew she was right. It's not his fault and I see the love in Oliver's eyes.
"You're right." I said. "I can't wait to see my little brother and you'll be an amazing dad to him." replied Lily with a smile. I hugged my daughter and smiled. "Thank you honey." I said.
