Adam and I visited my old home to get some stuff. I heard someone open the front door downstairs. I panicked a bit.
"Dad is home." I said. "What should we do?" asked Adam. "I'm supposed to be twenty-eight." I said. "We figure out something." replied Adam clalmy.
We walked down to the hall and dad met us. I noticed some gray hairs in his dark hair. He looked at me and Adam.
"Hey dad." I said. "You haven't aged." replied Charlie. "I know." I said. "You'll be twenty-eight, but you still look like you're nineteen." he replied. "I wish I could tell you the truth, but I can't." I said. "I want to know the truth, I'm tired of lies." replied Charlie. "Okay, but it's a long story." I said. "I have time." he replied.
I walked to the living room, but Adam stopped me. "What are you doing?" he asked. "I can't lie anymore, he has the right to know." I said. "Volturi will kill him." replied Adam. "They don't need to know." I said. "I don't know." he replied. "You have to trust me, I know what I'm doing." I said. "I'll always trust you." he replied.

"So you and Adam are vampires?" asked dad. "Yes." we both said. "Have you long have you been a vampire?" asked Charlie.
"Since 1920. I lay dying in a morgue after a suicide attempt. That's where Carlisle found me." he said. "Is Carlisle also a vampire?" asked dad shocked. "Yes." I said. "But he's a doctor, how can he be around blood?" he asked. "Years and years of practice." said Adam. "I believe you." replied Charlie. "Thank you." I said. The sun shone in and we sprakled. Charlie looked shocked at us. I couldn't help but smiling.
