Now my main problem with this ship is... Bagheera tried to protect the kid that Shere Khan was trying to eat, and I feel like that's a conflict of interest?
Bagheera has strong morals, and like a very protective urge. Shere Khan is a mean ass Tiger that tried to eat a child.
Also. For the record, Bagheera is aroace, I don't care. Argue with a wall. Shere Khan is legally married to Scar from the Lion king.
It's hard for me to ignore such obviously canon facts.
But also, on the other hand, fancy cat husbands?
Eh.
Yeah I'm not a fan of this ship, but if someone were to write a 30k+ fic of with a Shere Khan redemption and Sheregheera endgame, I'd be down for that. I'd have a fuck ton of fun reading that too.
Sadly, nothing like that will ever exist (can't imagine why).
