Camilo and I walked over to where most of the guests were, the breakfast patio, to make sure everyone was entertained. Which they were due to Isabella giving everyone a flower show that left paint splatters all over some of the people in the front.

I laughed at the sight then spotted Ruben sitting at one of the tables we had Luisa set up, accompanied by Emilio, Amelia...and June. Ruben and I made eye contact and he immedietly started waving his arm in the air.

"Y/n! Camilo! Over here!" he yelled over the booming music.

"Ruben!" Camilo said, walking over to his friends and lugging me along with him.

I wanted to talk to most of them, I was happy that most of them could make it to the party! Most of them. I didn't want to talk to June or even make eye contact with her again. I didn't need her "borrowing me" again and threatening to "make my life miserable."

She frowned as she saw me but changed her expression to a kind smile when she looked at Camilo. She really was two-faced.

"Camilo! You should've told me it was a party for one of the L/n's! I wouldn't have dressed so nicely if you did" she said, not ashamed of her obviously backhanded comment.

"You look great June, I like the yellow dress" Camilo said.

"Mhm! I had my dad make this dress for me out of this fabric because it reminded me of you!" she said, shamelessly "I was hoping we would match but you aren't wearing your ruana like usual..."

Camilo's friends and I shifted uncomfortably as we watched her touch his arm.

"Oh, I just wanted to change it up for tonight" Camilo said, oblivious "Y/n helped me with the outfit!"

"And the hair!" Dolores chimed in, giggling.

Camilo rolled his eyes at his older sister. June glared through my skull.

"They helped you with your hair?" she asked, feigning innocence "No wonder it looks like a mess!"

"A mess?" Camilo said, his confidence quickly disappearing.

June hadn't thought about how if she insulted my hairstyling skills, she would insult how it looked at Camilo. Camilo frowned and unconciously went to touch his hair. His friends, his real friends, noticed his change in attitude.

"I disagree, Camilo looks great" Emilio said.

"Yeah! Camilo's hair always looks cool" Amelia said, agreeing with her brother.

"June, you're blind, he looks good" Ruben said, making an annoyed face at June "Y/n is good with hair."

"Oh! Could you do my hair sometime at school?" Amelia said "Oh, and Emilio too, his hair sucks!"

"Oy, my hair is fine as it is, you're the one that has split ends" Emilio shot back.

Amelia gasped, offended. Ruben and Camilo laughed as the twins quarreled. June scoffed and stormed off towards the finger food table.

"What's up with her?" Ruben asked, taking a sip of orange juice.

"Ugh, it's June, she's always like that" Amelia said.

"Guys, she's not that bad..." Camilo defended.

"I don't know why you defend her Camilo, she threatened and bullied other people who liked you before you told her to stop" Amelia said.

"Well, I've just known her for so long and..." Camilo said "I don't know..."

The conversation was cut short when Pepa and Felix danced our way.
