Yes, my eyes were closed so I obviously couldn't see anything. But I could hear things. They were faint because of the constant rythym of my own heartbeat drumming through my ears, but I would hear things.

I could feel the rush of many footsteps running towards me. I heard the music stop playing, which I was thankful for, I just wanted everything to be quiet right now. The first voice that I heard was Dolores'.

"They're in here!" Dolores said, busting inside "I shouldn't have snuck away with Mariano, then maybe I would've heard this and stopped it!"

"Y/n!" I heard my father say "Who did this?! Who?!"

I heard someone gasp as they entered the room.

"Someone get Julieta!" I heard Felix say, his voice slightly trembling.

"I'll do it!" I heard Bruno say, who apperently was in the room as well.

Now, I noticed that my hearing was starting to go as well. My heartbeat was getting so...SO loud. I could only feel for footsteps to get an idea of who was here. All I heard was my heartbeat for a few minutes, then I could hear voices again.

"Isa! Can you use vines to carry them onto the table?" I heard Mirabel ask, her voice fading out at times.

Then I felt something cold and almost rubbery slither around my body like a snake. Then I could no longer feel the ground. I could only feel something under me again when I knew I was carefully placed on the table. I would thank Isabella if I could.

The voices faded away again. Now, I could hear a ringing. I felt extremely light headed.

'How much blood am I losing?' was all I could think about.

"I-I'm here what- Oh!" I heard Julieta exclaimed when she entered the room "Everyone, please stand back I will..."

Then Julieta's voice disappeared again. I let myself fall into a deep sleep, wondering if I would ever wake up at all. I could feel myself losing conciousness, blood and energy. With the last bit of my energy, I tried my best to hear the people around me. Then I heard his voice.

"Y/n? Y/N?!" Camilo yelled "June! June, what did you do?! I can't- Why?!"

"They deserved it, Camilo!" June replied, hysterical laughs laced between her words "Don't you understand? I did this for you- for us! They're finally taken care of now, you can finally be mine, I-"

"GET OUT!" I heard Camilo yell, anger and sadness trembling his voice "GET THE FUCK OUT. YOU AREN'T WELCOME HERE ANYMORE."

"I-" June began before getting cut off.

"OUT!" Camilo screamed.

I heard Camilo's rapid footsteps, like he was running towards June.

"Camilo, no!" Ruben's voice said "June, just get the fuck out!"

I didn't hear June say anything back, I just heard her high heels clack away as she ran. Then the noises faded all over again.

I wasn't sure how long I stayed in that state. I was asleep but I also wasn't? I couldn't move my body but sometimes, I could hear what the people that were around me were saying. I could hear some people crying or someone asking Julieta how I was.

Everyday, someone would come into the room I was staying in, I couldn't tell which one, and talk to me. Their voice was so faint in the state I was in so it was difficult to tell who it was. Whoever it was, I was thankful for them. That same person would feed me the food that I needed and sit me up and helped me drink water. They were being careful when they were feeding me so I didn't choke.

Sometimes, they would ask me, almost beg me, to wake up. I wished I could. If not for myself, for them. They sounded so miserable, crying over me like I was dead. They were right to do so, I barely felt alive.

"Will they be okay?" the voice asked another person in the room.

"They will be okay, you just need to keep feeding them, okay?" another voice replied, a voice who I think was Julieta.

There was silence for a moment and then Julieta left the room.

"C'mon Y/n..." the person said "There are people here that need you! Marcos visits you all the time, he keeps asking me if you're awake yet and it hurts me to tell him that you're still...Like this."

I wanted to respond. I tried but all that happened was the corner of my mouth twitched. Then I heard a laugh, a laugh that rang a bell. I was searching my brain for where I knew that laugh from but my mind was so foggy that I came up with nothing. The laugh was sweet and airy, it made my heart beat a little faster.

"I know you can hear me, Y/n" the voice said "You're just being stubborn not waking up like this..."

I found that funny but I couldn't laugh for them if I tried. There was silence, then the slight creak of the door. A few more moments and I heard the door close, leaving me alone in the room again.

I hated it. Being stuck there, unable to do anything. But I was hopeful, I had the will to wake up, I just needed to get up and do it. I was determined to open my eyes by the end of today, no more of this useless state.

I will wake up.
