Last night was strange. It was our last night in the Encanto. Dinner was tense at first, we were all doing our best to pretend that everything was normal but it was very apparent that it wasn't. Luckily, after a bit of jokes, everyone was talking just as they would on a normal night.

I went to sleep soundly that night. We had everything prepared. We packed everything that we might need and both Camilo and I were sure of ourselves and this decision. We were going to travel the world, see everything that there is to see, and we were going to do it together.

This morning started off normally enough. The sun was shining through my window as I blinked awake. As if it were divine timing, Camilo happened to knock on my door just as I was stretching.

"Mi vidaaa!" Camilo called, his voice muffled by the heavy wooden door "Wakey, wakeyyy!"

I gestured with my hand, causing the door to swing open.

"Good morning, Cami," I replied, the corners of my lips curving into a soft smile.

Camilo moved to sit on the edge of my bed. Once he was comfortable, he put his hand over mine, reciprocating the smile. I loved what he looked like when he smiled, even if he had tired eyes and a usually calm face, you could tell that he was truly happy by the way he was smiling.

"Do you remember what today is?" Camilo asked, a light tone in his voice.

"Of course I do, Cami" I answered "How could I forget? We spent all of yesterday packing for the journey."

Camilo squealed in excitement. I always found it adorable when he was excited like this. He slowly stood up from my bed and stretched.

"Well, it's time to get up!" Camilo said "We've got an eventful day ahead of us."

I groaned, causing him to chuckle at the fact that I definitely wasn't a morning person.

"C'mon, mi vida! Don't be cranky!" Camilo urged, shaking me slightly.

I took a deep breath before counting to ten in my mind, telling myself that once I hit the number ten, I would get up from my bed. Needless to say, I made it to around sixty-five before I actually got up. I rose to suddenly sit up in my bed, causing Camilo's to jump a little.

"There we go" he said softly "Let's go downstairs, Tia Julieta made breakfast and I'm hungry."

"You're always hungry, Cami," I said jokingly as I yanked off my blanket.

"Hey, I'm a growing boy! I need to eat!" Camilo retorted.

I shook my head with a slight chuckle. The two of us made it to the breakfast table on the patio and Camilo pulled out a chair for me to sit in. I smiled at him before doing a small curtsey.

"Why, thank you, Senor Madrigal!" I said in a jokingly formal way.

"Think nothing of it!" Camilo replied, his voice sporting an equally posh tone "I am a gentleman after all."

I sat in the chair and Camilo pushed me towards the table.

"Alright, you stay here, I'll go get our breakfast" Camilo said "Save a seat next to you for me!"

"I can get my own food now, you know" I reminded him.

"I'm aware of that, it's just a habit that I've gotten into," Camilo said.

He began making his way towards the buffet table, taking a few long strides before he turned backwards to face me again.

"You want some arepas, right?" Camilo asked, tilting his head slightly to the side.
