Okay so my plan is to complete this book and then go through and edit it, after that I will do the prequel with Billy (who will not be racist) and then I'm thinking of doing an Adira x Robin book 📖

Eddie grabbed the walkie talkie and held it up near his face as he turned away from the window, fear running through his veins as he watched the three jocks storm through the main house, weapons over their shoulders as they turned everything inside out looking for him, "Hey Dustin you there? It's  Eddie. You remember me, right? Hey uh, if anyone is there I really think Addy and I might be in a bit of trouble here," Eddie exclaimed quickly, his hair dropping down in front of his face as he paced nervously around the room

"Okay Wheeler? Anybody?" Eddie growled angrily as nobody replied. He smacked the walkie a few times and continued to pace the room, his stride picking up more and more as he became more stressed and scared. Adira noticed how much he was getting worked up and stood up before she made her way over to the boy, grabbing the sides of his arms and holding him in front of her, a worried look on her face as he blue eyes peered into his fear-filled brown eyes

"Hey hey, you need to calm down alright, its okay, they haven't found us yet," Adira muttered out to him, she was scared that they were going to hear him freaking out so she needed to calm him down, "the sun is starting to go down Ed, maybe they will just sweep the house and then leave when they don't find anything okay? Andy has got the attention span of a goldfish."

"I can't calm down Adira, those three guys in there more than likely want to kill me and they are just walking around in the house, a few meters away, holding baseball bats and crowbars, and you know what they are like Adira, they aren't just going to give up now that they know I've been here," Eddie said to her shaking his head quickly as he tried to calm himself down

Adira knew that the boy was right, once Jason got a lead, she knew that he wasn't going to stop until he had searched the entire premises. "Well then we need to figure out how we can get the hell out of here without them seeing us," Adira muttered out as she let go of him and ran her fingers through her hair in frustration, "we can't get to the Camaro because they will hear us opening the shed and then bloody attack us before we even get in the car."

She was internally thanking her past self for remembering to lock the shed and bring the keys into the boat house with her, because it meant the boys wouldn't be able to get into the shed and see her car which would instantly tell them that they were there.

"We could go on the boat," Eddie muttered out as they looked over at the old, falling apart boat that they had been sleeping in, it was falling apart and Adira wasn't even sure if it would make it to the other side of the lake without sinking

"Yeah we could," Adira muttered out as she looked at the boat, a look of disgust and fear on her face, she wasn't exactly a giant fan of boats... or at least travelling over water that is. "Maybe we could make a run for it through the woods, the town should only be about 8 kilometres northeast," Adira muttered out and Eddie looked at her with wide eyes of disbelief

"8 kilometres. You think that I can walk, let alone run 8 kilometres?" Eddie asked her in disbelief as he continued to shake his head. He made his way back over to the window and pointed out towards the woods which seemed to look much scarier now that the sun was going down, "not to mention we probably wouldn't make it through there anyways, we'd be dinner for some kind of animal in there."

"Yeah you're right," Adira replied softly and began to look around the boat house, there wasn't much in there besides the boat, some oars and the food that they had brought in there, "maybe we could try and get to the car and defend ourselves with something in here?" she muttered out and tried to look for something that they could defend themselves with, "not to actually seriously hurt them or anything, but we could find something that will make them stay away from us till we get to the c-"
