The light hanging over the dining room table seemed to glow softly, flickering in front of all of the teens as they stared at it. They could hear Dustin's voice louder now, and they realised it was coming from the light. Adira stared up at the light with a look of awe on her face as she walked over to it and slowly stretched her hand up towards it, golden-like light particles, fluttering around her hand.

A small chuckle fell from the girls lips, a smile tugging on her face as the other teens walked over to the light as Adira moved her hand around slowly, a tingling sensation buzzing through her fingertips and down to her hand.

"Woah," Eddie muttered out as he walked over to Adira, a shocked yet look of awe on his face as his eyes darted between the girl and the light above her. By now, the rest of the teens were standing along side Adira, watching her movements silently before the rest of them began to reach up. As they reached up, the light grew brighter and the sound of buzzing intensified.

"it... tickles," Steve muttered out to the others. He was surprised by the sensation buzzing through his hand, he had expected it to either feel like nothing or to hurt... but instead it just tickled.

"It kinda feels good," Robin muttered out and Adira couldn't help but chuckle softly, the two of them making eye contact as they looked over at each other at the same time, wide smiles tugging on their lips as they looked over at each other. Adira was the first one to look away though, the smile slightly faltering as she did so, drawing her attention back up to the light above them

"Does anyone know morse code?" Nancy suddenly asked them, an idea popping into her head as she looked over at Robin, Eddie and Adira in particular, expecting the 'geeks' to know morse code. However, all three of them shook their heads, it wasn't exactly something that the three of them thought they would need in the future and it wasn't like it was taught at school

"No," they all admitted, slightly regretting not learning it now

"wait, does SOS count?" Eddie quickly asked, recalling the one thing that he had learnt from his uncle about morse code. The teens all turned their attention to him, "is that... is that good?" he asked them hopefully, confused as to why they were now all looking at him in a funny and expectant way.

"You're a genius Ed," Adira said to him, a proud grin on her face as she pats the boy on his shoulder. Eddie felt his cheeks heat up at the girl's words, his chest fluttering slightly. He got embarrassed by his reaction, he had never expected her words of praise to have this kind of effect on him. He reached up again and then began to morse SOS into the light repeatedly, hoping that Dustin would see

The lights flickered in time as Eddie tapped his fingers in the air, the buzzing intensifying as his skin got closer to the light. "Its working," Robin muttered out as they watched the light, flashing in time.

"Guys?" They heard Dustins voice, it was louder now, like he was standing closer to the light now. "Adira? Is that you guys?" Adira practically squealed in happiness as Dustin recognised that they were there. She reached her hand up towards the lights and waved it around quickly, letting him know that it was them. As she heard his chuckle, she knew that he know realised it was them talking to him through the lights

"Oh thank the gods," Adira muttered out as she looked up at the light. It sucked ass that Dustin couldn't hear them, but there had to be some way for them to communicate with him. If Will had been able to do it, then they could too.

It went silent for a few moments before they heard the boy speak up again, "Alright, I've got an Idea!" Dustin explained his idea to the teenagers, telling them that they had to meet in Mike's room, sit on the floor edge of the bed and wait for them, explaining the plan to use Holly's light board to communicate with them.
