"No no no, hey, Adira what the fuck did you do?" Eddie exclaimed as he sat up, and looked at her.

"Let's just get out of here yeah?" She said through the pain as she stood up and began walking to the trailer. The boys couldn't believe it, she was fine, Eddie was fine too. They did it, and they were all going to make it out of there alive.

"Sounds like a great plan," Eddie said and kissed her on the lips, "you saved me," he said gratefully, "thank you," he told her

"Of course," she said with a small smile, ignoring the nauseous feeling inside of her stomach. Eddie and Dustin began cheering, happy that they were getting out of there, they ran ahead a little bit and were doing some stupid dance moves before they stopped and began talking

"Thank god it's all over right?" Dustin said thankfully, "now we can all go back home and chill for a while before the next problem starts," Dustin said

"Hey man, don't jinx it. We saw what happened to the bats, that has to mean that they killed Vecna right?" Eddie said and Dustin nodded, "we actually won!" He laughed in excitement, "can you believe it."

Adira was struggling to keep up with them, her legs were going numb and her body had become extremely heavy, she looked ahead of her and saw that the distance between her and the two boys was only growing.

Eddie threw his arm around Dustin's shoulder in excitement, "you know for a minute back there I really thought that I was going to die," Eddie said with a laugh

"Yeah me too," Dustin replied, with a small chuckle. He was beyond grateful that Eddie was still with them and he still couldn't really believe it. Surely there had to be some kind of catch right? You can't just slap death in the face and say no.

"And once again, Adira saved the day huh?" Eddie said with a grin and turned around to look at Adira, "Addy?" She was standing still, a few meters behind them, clutching her chest.

She had a small smile on her face before she collapsed onto the floor.

Dustin scrabbled to get away from Eddie as Adira fell. "No please- please you're okay! Please don't do this!" Dustin cried out to her before he grabbed onto her injured body, carefully pulling her off the dirty ground and into his lap.

His heart began to hammer in his chest and he struggled to breath as he looked down at her. He couldn't take this, first he thought that he was going to lose Eddie and now he was losing Adira. The girl who he saw as family, the girl that he could rely on and tell her anything. The girl who would literally punch people if they were harassing him

"It's okay, Dustin," Adira said as Eddie fell to his knees next to her, running his hands through his hair as he began to freak out, his eyes skimming over all the wounds on her body before he noticed that they were fresh wounds... the wounds that he had mere minutes ago.

"Adira what the hell did you do? You didn't heal me by getting rid of my wounds..." he said freaking out as he realised what she had really done, "you took them... you took them all," he choked out, "you shouldn't have done that. No no no, why would you do that?"

She gave them both a warm smile and reached up, placing her hands on their cheeks to let them know that she was okay with this, "it's okay," she repeated

"No it's not okay! I was supposed to be the one who died, not you!" Eddie yelled at her, tears pouring down his face as he buried his head into her chest. She could feel her body shaking as loud sobs racked through his body, loud cries falling from his mouth

"It's okay," she whispers out to him, she knew that she wouldn't be leaving alive. If she had survived this, she would have died another way, protecting someone else... she had known for days now, she could just feel it. He continued crying into her chest, he couldn't stop
