Steve went to argue with his sister again but the ground suddenly shook violently below them once again. Adira almost fell off Eddie's back, but he had managed to keep his ground and hold onto her tightly enough. Steve stuck his arms out to steady himself, "god dammit!" he exclaimed before looking over at his sister in worry, hoping that she hadn't got more hurt than she already was as she let out a few grunts of pain

"Here we go again," Eddie replied whilst Adira just groaned in pain, waiting for it to stop. Eddie could feel her blood seeping through the material on his back and rubbing against his cool skin. This was the longest that the ground had shaken, it seemed to go on for a while. "Nancy! Where are you going? Nancy!" they heard Robin yell out and they looked ahead of them to see Nancy running off away from them through the woods, despite how much the ground was shaking

"Come one horsey, we gotta go after her," Adira beckoned in her boyfriend's ear and then the rest of the teenagers all quickly ran after the girl, trying their best not to fall on their asses as they ran with the ground shaking aggressively below them. Adira wrapped her arms around Eddie as tightly as she could, but her grip was becoming more and more lose the more lightheaded that she felt.

They rounded a corner and finally court up to Nancy who had stopped running and was staring at something.

They turned to see what the girl was looking at and sure enough, there was Nancy Wheeler's house. "Come on," she beckoned to them and then began to lead the way once again, they were all filled with hope once they saw the house. They had been walking through the woods for ages without seeing anything, and now they had finally found what they were looking for. They carefully and quietly walked up to the front door of the house, making sure not to step on one of the thousands of vines that surrounded the house.

They continued to look around them, scared that Vecna or some kind of demo-bitch-animal was going to jump out at them and attack them. Nancy gripped the door handle, praying that it wasn't going to be locked. She twisted the handle and pushed, and the door swung open loudly, revealing the inside of the Wheeler's home, completely covered in vines.

"If Mrs Wheeler saw this, she would shit her pants," Adira snickered out softly, imagining the look on the woman's face if she had seen her house in this state

"It might be time to get a maid Wheeler," Robin commented as they used their flashlights to look around the house. Nancy hadn't said anything, an unreadable expression on her face as she looked around the house

"Nancy, you okay?" Adira asked the girl in concern.

Nancy shook her head slightly, as if she was attempting to snap herself out of her own thoughts, "Come on, we don't want to stay any longer than we have to." Nancy ran up the stairs, a sour and anxious look on her face and the rest of them followed shortly after her, following her into her room... except for Steve, who could have sworn he was hearing the voice of Dustin Henderson

Nancy grabbed a box and quickly placed it on her desk, opening it quickly, all of them were expecting it to be her guns, however, when she pulled the lid off and removed the cloth over the top, they were faced with a pair of new shoes. Adira had to refrain from letting out a small groan as she looked at the shoes, the shoes weren't going to serve them much use when fighting Vecna.

"Those aren't guns," Eddie said, stating the obvious as he pointed down at the shoes. Nancy picked up the shoes and began rummaging through the box, a desperate and confused look on her face as she tried to locate the guns, however, she was unsuccessful

"I mean,  those heels are a little bit pointy, but I was hoping for something along the lines of a deadly projectile," Robin said as she looked over at Nancy who seemed to be getting more and more confused as the seconds passed.
