I fell to my stomach in agony, they were just toying with me, one Scythe would be different, but having to deal with the two of them was a whole different story. I could feel Melzri not moving behind me, just watching, Nico stopped attacking as well, seeing what his mentor was doing, and I just rolled over on to my back.

"I like you." I said while I looked at Melzri, laying on the ground, she was a good fighter. The blood sword dissolved, the blood around me was on the ground, and as I slowly got to my feet, I had to manipulate the blood back to me. "I will honor our deal, but as you can see, I am still able to fight."

My legs felt like jelly, I lost a shit tone of blood, Melzri sliced through some important parts of my body, but I wasn't going to go down so lightly. I still had a few tricks up my sleeve, but phase three, that was not being used, not here.

"Let's even up this fight." I said, tilting my head a little as I stretched it out, and that was when four white core clones came out of the forest, standing next to me as we faced the Scythe and Nico. "Now, this is a better fight, don't you think Scythe Melzri?" I asked her with a grin, still in tremendous pain.

"Not even close." Melzri responded, and I took my mana ring off my finger, and handed it to a clone.

"I entrust everything with you, you know what you have to do." I told it, and the clone nodded, stared at me, knowing what I had planned, then darted away from us. "Alright, now it's two on one for the two of you, but I'll take you Melzri, the three clones will kill Nico."

"Tch." Nico hissed, then spikes grew at us, my clones and I dashed in different directions, each dodging spikes when we had to. I shot myself into Scythe Melzri, swinging my blood sword that I had formed in my hand at her head, trying to behead her and end this, knowing it wouldn't work, but I had to try.

She ducked under my blade, sent a kick at my head, a clone came, swinging at her leg, forcing her to back away. The clone after attacking her, joined the other two trying to get closer to Nico, but he was using his shadow spikes to prevent them from getting close enough to kill him.

Melzri seemed to be focusing on me, like she didn't want to get the real me, and the clones mixed up. Her wind blade came at me, I brought up an ice wall, and as she shattered it, I disrupted her core, causing her blades to lose their powers. I sent my sword to her ribs, and she went to swat it to the ground, but I liquified it, and reformed it as she passed through it.

My blade connected with the Scythe's ribs as I disrupted her core once again, leaving a giant gash on her side, that lit up with soulfire, that began to heal her. "Damn!" She exclaimed as the two of them stared at one another.

"Ahh!" Nico screamed as a clone made contact with his chest, leaving a giant mark, and that's when Melzri erupted, her aura and power came flowing out of her like a volcano, causing me to shiver even more.

She vanished before me, and the three clones around Nico all died in a second, like I didn't even see her do it, they all just dissolved back into blood like it was nothing, like they never existed. She faced me, healing herself still, and Nico stepped to her side, both glaring at me.

This could be it, my clones didn't work, I'm sure illusion magic won't work either, I had nothing that could do anything, I already unleashed a healthy number of spells at Melzri and she did quick work with them, like they were child play.

Spikes grew rapidly at me, trying to rip into my flesh, I emitted ice out of me, freezing any spike that got close, and as I did that, a sword slit my arm, then another sword from Melzri came at my ribs.

I parried the attack just in time, tried to drive my blade into her core, but she deflected it, then shot a wind current at me, launching me backward, and as she did that a black spike grew, and entered my quad, stopping me in my tracks.
