Melody Tremaine

I was standing in the middle of the room, inside the building King Virion built for me, wearing my teal dress with a golden lining that matches my sister's. It revealed a lot of my lower half, but it showed my authority here, I was made the leader of the people inside of the Grotto.

Virion and some of the dwarves that aligned themselves with Virion built houses, pathways, streams, streets, all inside of the Sand Grotto, making it seems like an underground city, inside, at the moment, we had gathered four hundred people, all loyal to Virion.

I was in charge of the people while the clones of Virion did experiments on the lower levels, only certain people had the ability to go down there, I was one of them, Daryl, and a girl named Circe, but she never really left from down there, she was an Alacryan, so she didn't fit in, but she was on our side, so I had no hard feelings for her.

It was morning, so it was time for me to go and check up on things down there, making sure everything was going according to plan. I started to walk out of the house I was in, it was one of the bigger ones, the people here had everything they needed, buildings with supplies that the clones brought here that are for the taken, water in the streams, and people to talk to, it was a perfectly designed functioning city.

When I entered the street outside of my house, the ground beneath my feet was smooth, earth magic was used to flatten the rocks on the ground to make it easier to walk on. The ceiling above us had lighting artifacts on it, it was a cavern, but it didn't feel like it, people were up and about, they knew they were safe here with Virion's protection.

"General Melody." People said as I passed them, bowing to me out of respect. I wasn't the strongest mage, but I was in the initial silver core stage, the first one, but I wasn't strong enough to protect these people like Virion can.

The stairs that were guarded by two soldiers from the Blood Legion came into view, they were on the east wall of the cavern, their names were Vick and Hunter, non-mages, but they were the ones put in charge of making sure no one went downstairs unless they were supposed to.

I received some more smiles and nodes as I got closer and closer, and as I did, Vick and Hunter bowed as well. "General Melody, it's good to see you on this fine morning." Vick said, moving out of the way so I can pass him, Hunter did the same.

"Likewise, Vick, Hunter." I said, taking my first step down the stairs, the pressure radiating from down here was very strong, but I was so used to it by now, that is didn't bother me, so I kept on going.

It only took my about five minutes to get to the huge hallway Virion designed to house the different experiments, this hallway lasted forever, because each door that aligned the walls led into a room that was about fifty by fifty yards, capable of housing the troops Virion was creating.

The first door was where a lot of the clones stayed when they weren't doing anything, so I didn't need to go in there, the next door was where the first troops were being created, they were interesting, a cool design by Virion I have to say.

I stood in front of the door, knowing that two clones worked in here, there was a sign on the door, it read the name of the troop, Hellhound.

I grabbed the handle and opened the door, inside was a giant room, the two clones turned to me, giving me a smile as I walked up to them. The Hellhounds before them just sat in silence, unmoving, but there were about three hundred of them, but that was in this room alone, there were more rooms with them.

The Hellhounds were like wolves, but they had black furred bodies, and the fire that blazed out of their body was a dark red, Virion said that it was a combination soulfire, regular fire, and his blood magic, anything it touches would burn to ash.
