I was in my home village of the Thyestes Clan, it's been a while since I came here, but that wasn't why. I was done, I couldn't do it anymore, the boy was right, he predicted everything, I don't know how, but he did.

He knew that I would use the World Eater Techinique, he never said, but he told me that I would be given the choice in the future to destroy a Kingdom, and I told him I would, and I did. He also said I would regret it, and I did.

Virion Leywin might be dead, but his words are still with me. I didn't want to believe him at the time, but it appears that everything he said about Lord Indrath was true, all of it. I need to flee while I can, I will not use the World Eater technique again if I can help it.

"Aldir, are you alright?" Lord Ademir asked, the leader of my clan. "You seem to be lost in thought, you know that is never a good sign to what is to come." I turned to the clan leader who was meditating as he spoke to me.

"It's nothing." I told the Lord as I continued meditating alongside him. "I was merely thinking about what I did, and how I regret it." I could sense that nothing changed in his emotions. I didn't tell him yet that I was planning on fleeing, but I think he knew.

"Yes, the World Eater Technique carries a heavy burden on the user, that's why we stopped using it." Lord Ademir started off. "Just know that it may have been you who did what you did, but there was no choice at the time, Aldir, Lord Indrath gave you orders, you had to follow them."

"I know." I told him as I let us sit in silence for a split second, then spoke some more. "But I have a choice now." I opened my eyes and turned to him, my third eye joining in, but he was still concentrating on meditating. "Lord Ademir, for the clan's safety, I want you to kick me out of it."

His face didn't change, all he did was nod his head. "I knew that would be your choice, and I know why you are doing it, and I wish you the best from here on." He told me, opening his eyes as he turned to meet mine. "Just be careful, I won't be able to help you for now, the Indrath clan is dangerous." He paused for a second, then added. "What am I saying, you know that better than anyone, you've been working for them."

"I know." I told him. "And I bet sooner or later, I'll come across a few of them, and I'll be given the choice to fight or be his slave again." A slave, a fitting term for it, that Virion Leywin. "I hope one day I'll be able to return to my homeland here, but I don't know when that'll be."

"You will be welcomed back if certain actions are taken, but unfortunately Aldir, I don't see that happening." I knew that, the odds of Lord Indrath, Kezess being defeated, are slim to none. "And leaving Epheotus will be challenging as well."

"I know where I am going." I told him, having a place in mind, it was only finding it that I needed to do. "And I'm sure Windsom will make leaving this place difficult for me, but I'll find a way, I just hope that Lord Indrath doesn't send too many dragons to their slaughter."

"Aldir, you plan on fighting your way out?" He asked me, and I nodded my head. "I see, it only makes sense since that may be the only way for you to get out of this continent." It was, I didn't have a warp pad, so I was going to have to find one to get out of here. "What are your plans then?"

"I want to help the Dicathions in anyways I can." I told him, knowing that they probably don't want my help, but I would still try in some way. "But first I'll have to see an old friend, I'll make it up to them in some way, even though I don't think there is a way to make it up to them at this point, unless I unleash my powers on the Indrath clan."

"Which you won't do." He told me with a confident tone. "That would go against why you are abandoning them, and Aldir, I truly believe that there is nothing wrong with what you are doing, it is understandable." This did mean a lot to me, hearing that, hearing that what I was doing was okay. "But remember, if you die, the technique dies with you, no one else knows it."
