Virion Lewyin

This was it; I knew it would happen, I just thought I had more time. I was currently in the training hall, waiting for everyone to arrive, my hands weren't wrapped anymore, and I had both mana rings on, I had to go to my room first before coming here. The mana ring I had Jasmine bring was sitting on my pillow.

My fingers and wrist were still hurting, they didn't look as bad anymore after the medics healed them to some extent. I was looking at the entrance, rubbing my head, pushing my hair up off my forehead.

That was when a couple of figures walked into the room, looking at me with sorrow, not anger, which was what I wanted, they thought I was going crazy. "Everyone." I said, staring at them as they stopped ten yards from me.

In the room was Arthur, Sylvie, Bairon, Varay, Aya, and Elder Virion. It appears that King and Queen Glayder stayed behind in the council room, and King Eralith went with his wife who was escorting my parents away from here.

I would never hurt them, that was not necessary. "Veer." Sylvie spoke up, causing my heart to throb. "Give yourself up, you need help." I stared into her golden eyes, the love for me was still there, I could still see it. "Do it for me, if anything."

"I'm sorry, I can't do that." I answered her, speaking calmly as I stood before the most powerful beings in Dicathen. "I still love you, Sylvie, I do, just remember that." I turned my attention to the person next to her, Arthur, but it wasn't him who spoke next.

"Virion." Elder Virion said, grabbing my attention as they started circling me. "You have lost it, give yourself up without a fight, you have to know what you did wasn't okay. You killed Tessia, a person you looked up to." He paused for a second, then said. "We know about the things you went through in Alacrya, the torturing."

I figured Agrona told Arthur that, but who cares, I ignored him, and turned back to Arthur. "Big brother." As I said that, I could feel his heartbeat quicken as he looked me in my eyes. "I gave myself up, I had to get a few things, to give us a fighting a chance."

"Veer!" He said my name loudly. "You killed Tessia! What you did in Alacrya isn't important right now, we need to get you help, you aren't seeing properly." I knew that would be his response, he was trying to hide his anger, but it was obvious.

"I had my reasons." I told him, he knew why. "You know them." I waved my arms at everyone in the room. "And it is clear that I am not your ally anymore as I assume you are all here to take me down, and place me in the dungeon to get help, am I correct?"

"We have too." Aya's sword lit up with wind magic. "Veer, don't fight us, we all love you." I nodded my head, knowing that might be true.

I held my hand out, pushed mana into my ring, and pulled out the blue liquid with the cure in it. "I have the cure right here." Their eyes widened as they looked at it. "I told you, I had to go to Alacrya to get some things." I twisted the cap off, and drank it, eyeing them up as I swallowed it. "Now what? I am cured, are you still going to lock me up, well, try to lock me up?"

I felt my core thump, and my brain ease, things in me started to change, but I was still me. "Veer, even if that was the cure, we need to make sure you are, okay? If that means watching you in a cell, it is what needs to be done." Elder Virion said, and I nodded, agreeing with what he was thinking.

"What else do you have?" Varay asked me, speaking up for the first time. "If you went through all this trouble to get just the cure, I don't see the point."

"You are right, Varay, that's why I like you." I pointed at her with the empty tube, then dropped it to the ground, letting it shatter, not needing it. "Arthur, I have one thing for you." I pulled out a mana core, and they looked at it in confusion, lights of mana and aether appeared in the air as I held it.
