Eleanor Leywin

I shot out of bed, feeling rejuvenated, Boo was there, looking at me weirdly. "Boo, what's wrong?" I asked, running my hand through my bond, my body felt lighter, like super light.

"Ellie." My mother's voice could be heard from the entrance to the room I was in. "You're awake!" She said, walking up and giving me a hug. "I just had to yell at your brother, but it's fine, if you are up, it doesn't matter."

"Why did you yell at him?" I asked as she released me, my father walked in next, standing beside my mother.

"He said he turned you into a Vritra, but he didn't even say anything to us before he did." She said with a motherly tone, Scythe Seris stood in the doorway now, her dark eyes giving me goose bumps. "What if you wouldn't have woken up?!"

"I'm fine mom." I told her, but my dad's eyes were wide as he looked at me. "Dad?" I said, following his eyes down to where my core was, I peeked inside and noticed that my mana wasn't in my core, it was all throughout my body, and I was way past white core somehow! "Oh my god, I am a Vritra!"

"You are child." Scythe Seris said, stepping into the room, placing a hand on my mother's shoulder, she didn't seem to flinch at all from it. "I will be training Virion and you to use my abilities, I assure you, Eleanor, you will become a very powerful mage."

"H-how long was I out?" I asked, wondering why they weren't still slightly afraid of the Scythe anymore.

"About eight hours." My mother said, examining me. "How do you feel? Are you alright? Any chances?" She bombarded me with questions, Scythe Seris's eyes were tracking my face, tracking my emotions it looked like.

"I am fine, mom, I feel fine." I assured her, I did, I felt better than fine, it felt like energy was flowing all throughout my body, it was an amazing feeling. "Where is Veer now?"

"Oh, he's playing some board game with Retainer Cylrit." My dad said, looking out of the room. "He was getting pretty frustrated though when we left him." A board game with a Retainer, something I never thought I would hear.

"Eleanor." Scythe Seris stepped up, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Are you willing to go out to the battlefield right now? You seem normal enough to train, I know you just woke up, but I am curious to see what you can do."

I looked up at the Scythe as her hand laid on my shoulder, her black eyes seemed to have a caring nature to them. "I wouldn't mind, I am curious myself to be honest." I told her, my mom and dad didn't seem to be bothered by it, so I would love to go out and see what I could do.

"Alright." Scythe Seris smirked down at me, rubbing my hair as she spun around and faced my parents. "It's alright with the two of you, correct?" I wonder if Veer already tried to use her abilities, and what time is it? It feels like it is nighttime, but I just slept, so I am not even tired at all.

"It is almost time for bed, but it's fine with me." My mother told the Scythe. "Just be safe, Ellie, don't push yourself too hard, you just woke up, it could be dangerous, you don't know."

"I'll be safe." I assured her, and then turned to Boo. "Stay here, you make too much noise when you walk through the halls, just go back to bed, alright?" He gave me a grunt and closed his eyes. "I am ready Scythe Seris!"

"The two of you can go rest up." Scythe Seris told my parents. "Cylrit will watch over Veer, and I'll watch over Ellie, I am sure the two of you haven't been able to rest properly for a while, and I know that your stress will never stop, but for now, allow me to take some of it away."

"Thank you, Scythe Seris." My mother and father said, giving her a smile as she walked out of the room, and I followed behind her, my parents did the same but went into the room next door to the one we were just in.
