Slore Encampment Pt. I

I stood outside Slore, waiting, sensing, this was going to change a few things, I did find Gideon, but there were other people here I wanted to save, for example Melody and a few other Blood Legion members. I had to save them as well, but I could use their help, and I found out that Cassandra, Melody's sister, was at the Wall.

I sensed about a thousand troops here for Alacrya, but I don't know who from Dicathen is helping them now, I couldn't just in and kill them all, Slore was right next to Etistin, so the odds are that if I start attacking, the Scythes that I suspect to be in Etistin will show up. I was going to enter Etistin, spy on who was there, but I didn't want to risk it, even if it was a clone.

If they catch a clone, then going in and trying to save Varay might end up impossible, their defenses will increase. I mean, even from here, I can tell they have over thirty thousand troops there in the city, most on the outside, making sure no one gets in unless they are supposed to. I was still trying to figure out how to get in, and get out with Lance Varay, if I had to guess, she wasn't in a good state, they probably are torturing her.

I took a step toward Slore, in front of me stood no one, I could easily just walk into the city. Gideon and Emily were inside of a building with others, I was assuming they were forcing them to build stuff for them, Melody and other people were by the shore, they were moving back and forth, I think they are moving supplies, at least that is what I think.

I'll get Gideon first and kill who I have to when I go after Melody, actually, no, I'll sneak in. I put my hood up, hiding my horns, and covering my red eyes to some extent. I could see an alley, the city was small, so once I was in, Alacryans would be looking at me left and right.

Within seconds, I was in the alley, walking down in Slore, getting ready to rescue Gideon. I exited the end of the alley and the first thing I saw was two Alacryans, they were walking side by side down the street, it appeared as if they were heading to where Melody was. I gave them a head nod, and they walked on, not looking at me, it appears as if they don't care I am walking around with a hood on.

I should have shifted my body into something else before coming here, I could have walked around without a hood on to make myself not look so suspicious. We are already in the city, it doesn't matter now, and it is not a big deal, I can kill everyone here.

I stepped into the street, heading over to the other side of it, the building I wanted to enter was close by. I was going to have to kill a couple of people when I entered, Gideon and Emily where in the basement, a couple of soldiers guarded the way.

I stopped right in front of the building, cracked my neck, grabbed the handrail and walked up the stairs. The door was open, and inside, in the first room was just boxes and boxes of what looked like artifacts, I turned my attention to the door on the right, there was hallway in front of me, but I was guessing that the stairs to the basement was to the right.

I stood in the room, no one was here, they were down the hall or downstairs, I went to open the door, but then I felt people walking down the stairs down the hallway, which told me this was not the door to the basement, but most likely a supply closest. I opened it, and I was right, inside, there were more boxes, but not of artifacts, it looked like things to build artifacts.

I closed the door and turned to the hall, alright, here we go, I started down the hall, to the left was a kitchen with a woman inside, I ignored her, dropping my hood down now, she didn't seem to notice me walk by, so it doesn't matter.

"You!" A person called out from behind me as I went to open a different door past the kitchen. "What are you doing up here?!" I spun around to see who was speaking to me, and his eyes widened in horror as he saw my eyes and horns.
