Four Months Until Victoriad

I stepped through the portal, feeling magnificent, before me inside of Agrona's room was no one. "Fuck." I said, throwing Aenon's head onto the table so I didn't have to hold it any longer, it was kind of weird anyways. 'Of course, he isn't here.'

'He's in his lab.' Hades said, and I nodded my head, I could feel that, I sensed him down there working on something. I turned to the exit and made my way out of the room, leaving the head behind. 'He might be mad that you didn't get Holden, but I guess you did bring back Aenon's head, which has to be better.'

'They said it was.' I shrugged, turning down the hall 'He was dying, that's why he did what he did, and he wanted to make the Leviathan race the number one race, but who wouldn't want to be the best.' I understood what they were trying to do, using me to make themselves more powerful, it is what I would do, but it rubbed me the wrong way. 'Huh.'

'Yeah, I was about to say something.' Hades told me, inside of Taegrin Caelum there must have been at least, I don't know, these blood signatures are of stronger beings, maybe Wraiths, Sovereign, but I haven't felt them before here.

I continued walking to the lab where Agrona was, there wasn't anyone with him, Cadell was with Nice, but the Legacy wasn't with them, she was in her room. 'Maybe Agrona has something planned, sending them somewhere.'

'Be cautious.' Hades thought to me. 'He could be planning something, probably to kill you if you succeeded in your mission.' I nodded my head, thinking that exactly. 'I also wouldn't reveal anything right now, like your new power.'

'No shit, Hades.' I said, but then again. 'Well, the power difference isn't as much as we thought, but I guess I'll keep it secret for now.' Taking in Aenon's will didn't really change anything, I mean, don't get me wrong, I now had access to a lot more water abilities, and my connection with the blood inside of people was at an all time high.

I started down the stairs, sensing the blood of the Wraiths or Sovereigns moving on floors above me, they weren't coming for me, so I think we are fine for now. 'Sylvie's body is still unmoving, so he didn't bring her back yet.'

'Yeah, I sensed that.' I arrived at the door where Agrona was, and as I opened it, the god inside of the room snapped his head at me. "Jeez, no need to give me that look." His eyes widened at the sight of me, the anger on his face was gone. "What? Did you expect me to die?"

"Yes." Agrona said, smirking at me now. "You did it, you killed Holden? The grandson of Aenon?" I shook my head no, and he now had a confused look to him. "Then why are you here? Did you fail?"

"Well, not exactly." I stepped further into the room, seeing a dead body on the table before him. "You see, I killed Aenon instead." The calm demeanor on Agrona faded, the normal composed god looked at me in shock. "Yeah, I hope that works for you, he kind of pissed me off so I beheaded him."

The room fell silent as I waited for a response. "You killed Aenon? The leader of the Clan?" I nodded my head and the god before me smiled. "That works for me, but how? You just keep on surprising me." I laughed a little, getting closer to the table where he stood, sensing the blood inside of this corpse, it had some of mine in it. "I have some good news, Devil."

"Oh, you are still calling me Devil, nice." I nodded my head to myself, examining the body before me. "What's the good news?" I asked, turning to him, ignoring the dead body before me now, I was so used to it.

"Your serum worked." My eyes widened, that's what I sensed. "They aren't full blooded asuras like you, but you were able to mix the human, Lesser DNA with the Asuran DNA from our blood, they are half-bloods, but still possessing enough power to kill anyone."
