"Come on, hold onto me." I looked at Fenyir as I got ready to drop up from the platform, the skeletons were gone, it was safe to leave now, we needed to find the portal, Hades has been searching for a while, Fenyir just woke up after a good two to three hour nap.

"Okay." She said, wrapping herself around me as I dropped the platform back down into the ground as we could walk on the stones once again. "The ground, yes, we are back on it, let's get out of this room so we don't have to do that again."

"Haha, I agree." I said, laughing as we started to walk on the red stones inside of this room. "Hades is somewhere off into the distance, he hasn't found anything, but those mages, they are continuing in the same direction." I looked to the east, the direction that the mages were heading, I have to imagine they are just winging it at this point.

"You think they know something." Fenyir said, and I shrugged, letting her know I had no clue what they knew. "Should we follow them, maybe they do, maybe there is an easy way out and they know how to get there."

"I doubt that." I answered her, but then turned to follow them. "But let's see, I was trying to avoid Ascenders." I didn't feel like interacting with Alacryans, the first thing I'll want to do is kill them, or torture them, and to be honest, I think I needed a refill of test subjects, but that's not my job, so it's fine. "It may be worth it."

"I agree." Fenyir joined me at my side, and we set after the Ascenders off in the distance. "I have to imagine that those Skeletons come maybe every twenty four hours, I can't imagine it's every hour with the amount that showed up." I nodded, I think she might be true, but it was just a guess, we'll know soon enough. "How far away are we from them?"

"From them, about half a mile, from Hades, like two miles." I said, sensing them far away, there were mages in the other direction, well, a mage, the rest of his party or group died in the last battle. "They aren't moving though at the moment, I think they are gathering themselves, getting ready after the last attack they just had to go through."

"We'll catch up with them easily then." Fenyir said, and I sighed. "We only have to watch them, we don't have to go and join their group, they might have some sort of an idea to get out of here." I reached up and touched my invisible horns, then smirked as I turned to Fenyir. "What?" She said, looking at me.

"You said I was handsome, but this isn't what I look like." I said, remembering that I changed my appearance before coming in here to make sure no one spotted me, or recognized me.

"I saw you before we came in, Veer, and I've been a maid at Seris's mansion the whole time you were there, I know what you look like." She responded, and I waved my arms into the air, she was right. "Oh, was Veer scared that I didn't think his real appearance was handsome???"

"Fuck off." I said, stepping slightly away from her, but she just joined me at my hip. "I was only checking that is all." I could actually see the Ascenders from here with mana reinforcing my eyes. "Change of plans." I said, holding my hand up into the air, conjuring a blue fire ball, then shooting it up.

"Boom!" It made an explosion like a firework, and I could see that the mages in front of us turned to see what it was.

"What are you doing?" Fenyir asked, looking at me in confusion, she knew I didn't want to interact with them, but I changed my mind.

"We are going to go and speak with them." I continued my approach, not caring that I just alarmed them that we were coming. "Fenyir, our key word, if you say this word, I'm allowed to kill them." Her blue eyes turned to mine, and I went on. "Call someone a pussy, that means I can do whatever I want."

"Haha." She chuckled, then nodded. "Alright, if I call someone a pussy, you can kill them all." I guess I'll still have to control myself, I can't do anything that is wrong. "I'll do most of the talking though, I don't need you saying something that pisses them off."
