Hades was in my room, he had just arrived after investigating the portal for a short period of time, making sure it still worked and everything, but it was about midnight, only Seris, Cylrit, and Ellie were up.

Ellie sat in her room and read, yes, my sister is reading books based on Alacrya, trying to learn somethings about them, and Seris and Cylrit were in the lab, most likely trying to build the device to kill the Sovereign.

"Are you sure, Hades, that it's a teleportation gate into the Relictombs?" I asked, looking at him as he slithered on the ground around my bed, trying to find a good position to lay down at, since he wasn't in my body. "It could have been just a gate that teleported people across Alacrya."

"Really?" Hades asked. "In a cave? At the bottom? No, it was an ascension portal, I believe that is what they call them." He paused for a second, thinking it over, then went on. "It's worthless to go inside unless you absorb Sylvie's blood, Veer, you know that, right?" I nodded, I did know that, I was thinking about it a lot. "You'll also have to find a way to build an aether core, I don't know if that is important or not, but I don't think you'll find any god ruins if you don't have one."

"Hades, I've already been thinking about that." I told him, I pulled out a tube of blood, Sylvie's blood. "It's good Sylvie agreed to give us four tubes of blood when she did, of course, this is the last one." I shook my head, thinking about everything. "One was used on Arthur, and the other two are being used in the Sand Grotto."

"Yeah, I still disagree with that little project." Hades said, bringing up the Sand Grotto. "Project Vision, I don't like it, but in the end, if it works, it'll be a good thing." It will be, I am doing exactly what Agrona wants me to do, just with a little spin to it, but Project Vision isn't important right now, the Relictombs are.

"Back to the Relictombs and Sylvie's blood." I said, looking at my bond as I sat on my bed in the middle of the night, unable to sleep like usual. "It's true, I need to absorb this blood if I want to go into the Relictombs, it'll be pointless to go inside if I don't." I shrugged, letting the two of us think about everything.

I didn't even think of that, but he had a point, that could be the case. "However, we need to take into account two things, one, Blood Magic was irrelevant in the novel, not irrelevant, it wasn't a thing, so maybe if you combine blood magic with the ability to move aether around your core, it'll work." He paused, getting to his second point. "Secondly, you are a Legacy, we know this is true now, so who knows what is possible for you."

Sylvie's blood is half and half, but I took out the Vritra blood when she gave it to me, I picked the parts out of the blood that I wanted. It wasn't a big deal, it was still Sylvie's blood, just only the Dragon part.

"True." Hades was right about it all, Blood Magic wasn't a thing in the novel, and I was a Legacy. "Well, it was, it, it was inevitable, sooner or later I was going to have to absorb her blood, but I wanted it to be later." I grabbed the tube of blood I sat on my bed, and started to examine it, thinking about Sylvie as I did, her dead body dangling in my arms as I carried her away. "You are going to have to go inside of my body and make sure everything goes smoothly."

"I know." Hades didn't move, just stared at me, then spoke some more. "We need to decide what you want to do with the DNA, are you thinking of being fifty-fifty, Dragon, Vrita, I mean, the Vritra blood has already shifted your body, I don't think the Dragon blood will do much to you to be honest, it'll just be the powers you take on from it." I think he is right, fuck me, I would be just like Sylvie, a half breed of each Asura race. "You could, and this up to you, well, I could, I can rewrite the Dragon's blood to match your Vritra blood, not changing anything, it would still make you a full blood Vritra, just with the powers of a Dragon as well."
