Aya Grephin

My heart was racing as I stood across from the Retainer, she had spiked white hair, I want to say elf like ears, her red eyes seemed to not care that I was before her, ready to strike her down. I got her name from Veer, Mawar, she was wearing white and black battle robes that seemed to vanish towards the ground like they didn't exist, and it appeared as if she was floating just a little off the ground.

"A Lance." She said, shaking her head at me as we stood in the middle of Etistin, no one around, just her and I. "No matter, a Lance is still a Lesser." I spun my sword, getting ready to conjure illusions around us.

We were in the middle of the street in the city; alleys were all around us, this is my type of domain to fight in. "Retainer Mawar, I don't see horns, are you not human as well?" A black cloud formed under Mawar's feet.

"Just because I don't have horns, doesn't mean I am not Vritra blooded." She told me, then pointed her hand at me. "But I don't have to explain myself to a mere Lesser." Black tendrils of some sort of substance came flying out of the shadow beneath her.

I jumped to the side, dodging it, but more and more began to form, I started casting illusions, trying to confuse her. My blade came down on a tendril, but it just bounced off, it was as hard as steel with a sharp end to it.

I quickly moved to the side as the Tendril missed me, dodged another, formed countless wind blades above my head and shot them at the Retainer. I allowed the illusions I had to run up and down the alleys and mist to form around us, limiting her vision to the best of my ability.

I vanished and appeared before her, swinging my blade at her ribs, but the Retainer simply allowed it to happen, and as my blade got closer, a wind slowed its approach, knocking my blade away, and a tendril shot at me.

Dodging to the side, I felt the tip of the tendril cut through my armor just barely as I got out of the way, spun, deflected another tendril, got hit with a gust of wind from her, moving me backwards.

She wasn't fazed by my illusions or mist, but I could tell it was limiting her a little, five tendrils began to chase me through the city as I dodged and ran down different alleys, blending myself in with the other illusions.

Eventually, only one tendril was following me, the battles around me were huge and loud, but I zoned them out, the only one I could see was Sylvie verse that giant one, his name was Dragoth. I didn't get to speak to this Retainer like I did with the other two, I had lost two battles against two Retainers, I won't lose this one.

I didn't really lose to Cylrit though, but if we fought, he would have won.

I started conjuring twisters in the city, not caring if it was destroyed in the process, the war would be over if we lost this fight. They started rampaging through buildings and the street toward Mawar, this Retainer seemed to be a conjurer, or a Caster, that is what they call them in Alacrya.

Veer said he didn't know what she could do, so this was an interesting fight, I jumped over a tendril, landing to the side of it as it went past me, and shot at Mawar on the other end of it. I wasn't super close to her, but when I got within range, a twister was deformed by her spell that untangled it, and then a blade of wind came at my head.

I ducked under it, shot one of my own, forcing her to duck as well, then blade went to her, trying to kill her with one blow. She grinned as she spoke. "You are going to have to do better than that, Lance." My blade hit what felt like a brick wall, but I knew it was just a wind barrier so strong I couldn't push through, so I spun in the air, and sent a kick into her gut, knocking her backwards a little.
