"What do you mean, Lance Mica is dead?" Hornsfels said, looking at Virion and King Trodius, I stood there to the side. "We saved everyone there, all five thousand, Blackbend is empty now, no Dicatheons, no Alacryans."

"It appears, to get back at us, a Scythe, allowed all the people here." Virion said, standing in a circle of troops and ordinary citizens. "A Scythe decided to kill Mica, in return, she bought us enough time to get everyone here." He paused, looking at me. "We are safe here, Lance Mica's sacrifice will not be in vain, we will use it to build this place up, and we will not lose another battle."

The people started to chat amongst each other, I just stood there and listened, they were all looking to Virion and King Trodius for answers, some wondering why Virion didn't go and help her, some knew about Viessa's demands, but then again, it was all set up. "Lance Virion, what are we going to do now? We just lost a Lance, won't they come here, they must know with the raise in people here."

"They will." Virion said, the chatter got louder, but he released his aura, silencing everyone. "Listen, they want King Trodius's head, they do, they want it because he lied to the Vritas, he lied to the Vritras, he told them that there were no Lances here, and in exchanged, it guaranteed your safety." He paused as everyone took in his words. "That's what they want, they want the Lances, they want me, but if you all don't want me here, I will gladly leave."

He pulled his aura back as he started walking toward me, the silence was steady, but someone spoke up. "No!" A male voice cried out. "We are with you! If they want a battle, then we will give them one!"

"Yeah! We aren't handing over anyone, not King Trodius, not Lance Virion, no one!" Another soldier cried out, and my eyes met with Virion's, he was now smirking at me, I can't believe he predicted this.

"For Lance Mica!" A female soldier cried out, and then everyone started cheering, chanting, the noise got so loud, the Wall started to shake as the eight thousand people in here shouted.

Virion stepped back into the middle of the crowd, releasing his dark aura, silencing them all. "I appreciate that, everyone, I do, and if you all want a fight, I guarantee, there is one coming, the Scythe, she will want King Trodius, me, most of you." He paused, looking around at everyone in the front row of the crowd. "I will make sure to protect everyone I can, you all know that, you know what I can do, so, King Trodius and I, with some others, we will come up with a plan, a plan to protect everyone."

He stopped talking, allowing everyone to take in his words, and with his aura still released, the people started chanting once again. "Lance Virion!" I could feel myself getting excited for some reason, like I wanted to join in on the cheers. "Lance Virion!"

"I will wipe out any army that heads this way!" Virion shouted; his voice being amplified by his mana. "We will wipe them out! I am done being the prey, in time, we will flip the roles! What do you say about that!" The people got louder and louder, wanting to get revenge for Lance Mica's death.

Virion started walking over to me, motioning towards the stairs as everyone continued to shout. "Let's go, I'm done with this." He whispered in my ear, and I followed him towards the stairs as King Trodius stepped to the center of the room. "How was that?"

King Trodius spoke before I could, so I waited until it got a little quieter to speak. "As Lance Virion has said, if you all want to fight, then we will, but we don't know when that battle will happen, it could be a week, a month, a year from now, so we need to start preparing." We got to the stairs and the people there were smiling and crying as they greeted Virion and I. "Conjurers and archers will be on the top of the Walls at all times, earth mages will be building more and more homes in the Wall, extending it, we will make this place impenetrable."
