Virion LeywinI stood there, inside of the forest, hiding my presence as I got ready to attack this camp, I could feel Bilal inside, he was in his office, alone. There were about thirty Alacryan soldiers, most of them were not even on guard, the elves in the back of the camp inside of cages numbered over a hundred, however, if we allowed their slave routes to come through, it would be well over five hundred.
There were five teams hitting those routes today at the same time, actually, within the next five minutes the routes should line up perfectly for everyone to do what they have to. It didn't matter when I started now, no Alacryan was going to survive me. I hope that everyone stays safe, I don't need anyone dying in a simple hit and run mission, the Lances should be fine though, they weren't in the Bunker during this time in the novel, well, Bairon was, but he was weakened.
"Alright." I said out loud, walking out of the trees and toward the front gate where four guards stood, they didn't see me at first, but when they did, their mana spiked in preparation. I just continued to walk peacefully, waiting until I got closer to speak to them.
"You!" The one in the front said. "Stop right there." I continued walking, getting closer and closer, then fire blazed in the one's hand, forming a pitchfork. "State your business here, where are you coming from?"
I walked in silence still, getting within ten yards of them before the one with a fire pitchfork stepped up. "There shouldn't be any Dicatheons out here anyways, let's just kill him!" He threw the fork of fire at my head, I moved my head to the side slightly, and as it was going past me, I caught the fork. "Huh?"
They looked at me in shock as I held the fork at my side, then drove it into the one mage's chest, killing him there. "Dave!" A soldier shouted, then I stepped, and black and purple fire came out of my foot, and it spread across the ground and seeped into their bodies.
"Bilal!" I shouted, walking past them as they fell to the ground, gasping for air as I burned their insides. The eyes of the soldiers messing around inside of the camp turned to me, I stopped in the middle, standing nonchalantly as I waited.
The elves in the cages were looking at me in awe as they pressed themselves up against the bars of the cage. "It's Lance Virion!" Most of them knew me, everyone knows me at this point. "He's come to rescue us."
Twenty Alacryan soldiers circled me, the other ones I felt inside of the camp came walking over as well, not fully understanding the gravity of their situation yet. "On your knees." I said, releasing my aura, feeling for the blood in their bodies, dropping the twenty six soldiers around me to the ground. "Eyes down."
I stood there still, waiting for Bilal to leave his room, and when he finally did, he stepped out onto the balcony, and his eyes widened as they landed on me. I felt another blood signature heading this way, but it was no one important, only his brother.
Bilal was like a walking skeleton, I mean, his bones were clear as day, his skin was pale, his eyes were sunken in, dark, just like the other Vritras. He had greenish hair, it was like seaweed, short, but it looked disgusting, he was taller than me, but he was hunched over, standing wierdly.
"L-Lance Virion." Bilal said, flying off the balcony and toward me. "I'm surprised to see you here, or, or are you a clone?" I think I frightened him; he landed on the ground across from me, within the soldiers. "I couldn't wait to fight you; I have heard nothing but good things."
"Haha." I laughed, looking at him, then looking at the soldiers around me. "I am a clone." His eyes locked onto mine and I pushed more of my aura out. "Don't look me in the eyes!" The Retainer looked away from me, gritting his teeth as he did. "Listen, I am crazy, but if you were looking forward to fighting me, that is some crazy shit!"
