"I don't know how it works, but I think you need to push aether into it." Veer said, Adam and Durden now protecting me. Cadell was now walking this way as well, not in a rush, but the Twin Horns could not take him, no, they would all get killed. "I am going to help her! Keep going, Arthur!"

I felt more blood appear in my mouth, and I spit it out, causing Adam, Durden, and Helen to look at me wide eyed, then pushed aether into the medallion, Sylvie was still shooting energy at Dragoth, Veer shot at Cadell but soulfire erupted out of him, forcing my brother's clone to run away from it.

When all of that was happening, Cadell vanished and appeared beside Sylvie, and my eyes grew as he swung his sword at her, forcing Sylvie to dodge the attack, and ignore Dragoth for a mere second, and then the impossible happened.

I witnessed Dragoth grip the back of Sylvie's neck, lift her up, and then turn to Veer and me as my brother came back over. "There is no use for this puppet anymore." Dragoth said as he drove his sword through Sylvie's core, and out her stomach, blood already rushing out of her.

Cadell was just looking at me, I was motionless, unable to move as Dragoth held Sylvie's dying corpse up in the air, Veer from my side stepped up, his eyes wide, the pressure the clone radiated was scary. "Noooo!" I screamed, stood up, and then tears flooded my eyes. "Put here down!" I shouted, shooting myself at the Scythes, but Cadell only stepped in, and his blade upon impact on my own, shattered it to pieces, knocking me backwards back to where everyone was.

"Her life was meaningless anyways." Cadell said. "It's your turn now, Lance." My heart raced, I could feel beating faster and faster, panic setting in, Veer was standing there, just watching as Dragoth continued to hold Sylvie into the air.

'Sylv?' I thought to her, hoping to get a response.

'I-I don't think I am going to make it, Arthur, I am sorry.' She said, and a hand rested on my shoulder, it was Helen's. 'Don't die, don't die here too.'

'No, don't say that.' I told her, pushing Helen's hand off of me.

'I love you, watch over Veer for me, will ---' She didn't finish, I watched as her corpse fell to the ground, and a dark aura radiated throughout the forest behind the Scythes, I could see that even they were shocked and even afraid by the power it was exerting, or the anger.

"No, no, no." I said, shaking my head, pushing past the fear I was feeling by this aura. "Sylvie! Get up! Get up now! Please, Sylv!" I pleaded, went into my thoughts and spoke to her. 'Sylvie! Sylvie!'

I didn't get a respond, she, she was dead, my heart sank, my anger grew, but Veer's clone spoke up. "Get the medallion to..." He paused, I looked to him as his clone started to cry, I guess even they feel emotions. "Get the medallion and activate it, we need to leave, we don't want to be here when he comes walking out."

"Who?" Adam asked.

"Me." Veer said, looking at the forest. "I'm here, and right now, even with our connection broke, the rage, the anger, it's boiling, he's about to unleash it all onto them." I stared at the Scythes still looking at the forest as the aura got closer and closer.

I slowly turned to the medallion on the ground, and started to push aether into it, trying to form some sort of portal like Veer said, but all I could think about was Sylvie, making it harder and harder to do this, tears streaming down my eyes, blood rushing out of my mouth.

"Grey!" Nico shouted. "How does it feel to lose a loved one?!" My anger grew more, and I spun towards him. "Your precious bond is dead because you don't know right between wrong."

"Arthur, we, we need to go." Helen said, grabbing me again, turning me towards her, and grabbing my face with both hands. "I don't know what you need to do, but if you don't get us out of here, we are all going to die, I know it's hard, but we need to go, we can't help in this fight."
