Day of the Victoriad

Virion Leywin

It was finally the day of the Victoriad, and my excitement was off the roof, like oh my god, so much shit was about to go down, and the people around me had no fucking clue. I was walking amongst the crowd right outside the arena where snacks were being sold.

I obviously changed my appearance, something I could do very easily as a clone. "You good?" Caera asked me, and I gave her a smile as we walked together, of course, my brother being himself, wanted me to stay with Caera so I didn't do anything stupid.

"This place is so cool." I said, looking at the adults and students all around me, the arena was built pretty well, wish I was fighting within it, but this was Arthur's moment. "And I should be asking you if you are ready?"

"I'm not doing anything today, so yeah." She told me as we passed a stand with what looked like breaded hot dogs, but I'm sure they were called something else. "It's your brother that will be at risk, are you sure you don't want to spend time with him and his students before he does the stupid thing he has planned."

"First, it isn't stupid, it's smart, and secondly, he'll be fine, trust me, you have no clue just how strong my brother is." I laughed a little to myself as I bumped into a man wearing a nice and fancy robe. "My bad." He gave me a head nod, even though I thought he might get pissed at me. "I can't wait to watch all this go down."

"Well, we are going to Seris's box, it'll have a good view." Seris already talked to the clone at her estates about Caera and I watching everything in her box, even if she wasn't going to be there the entire time, it was going to be a really good view of things.

"I can't wait for these student events to be over."

"Are you that excited to see Grey fight?" She asked, looking at me curiously, and I nodded my head with a smile, knowing very well that it was going to be the highlight of my day, well, unless the real me shows up, but he probably won't. "You and your brother are very different."

"Yeah." I shrugged. "You are just getting that now, we are very different, but of course, when it comes to strength, we both are strong." She nodded her head as we entered an under passage. "I'm going to have to come out and get some food at some point, there was a lot I would like to try."

"Okay, just tell me, and I'll come with you." I gave her a weird look. "You may be strong, but your brother did give me the job of making sure you behaved yourself while everything was going on."

"I know." I shrugged, looking around with a smile as we passed a bunch of soldiers. "I don't need a babysitter though." I may need one to be honest, I was tempted to go into each room and see who was there, I could feel blood, but I didn't know whose. "Ahh!" I made a subtle scream as Cylrit came into view, I was a different clone from the one at Seris's estate, so this was my first time seeing him, even if I receive that Virion's memories at times.

"I'm assuming you are---" I didn't look like Virion, but when I nodded my head, he knew who I was. "Seris is inside, waiting for you two." He opened the door for us, Caera giving him a small bow, and the two of us walked inside to a couch facing the arena's field.

"Seris, please tell me we can just have food delivered here?" I said as I stepped passed Caera, seeing Seris turn to us, but I jumped over the arm rest on the one side of the couch, and landed right beside her. "There were so many things out there that I would like to try."

She met my eyes as we sat together on the couch, I could sense the shock from Caera behind me. "Yes, I can have food delivered here, Virion, but you know today's not a celebration, right? We need to be ready for what is to come, your brother is going to be doing something quite stupid."
