Black spikes came at me, and I didn't feel like dodging them, one entered my shoulder, one entered my quad, and the last stopped at my throat. I gritted my teeth, looking up at the Scythe, wondering what I did to deserve this. "Nico, that was not necessary." Melzri said, looking at Nico as he walked up to us.

"If he is anything like his brother, he doesn't follow through with his words." Nico said, staring down at me as the spikes twisted in my body, causing more and more blood to pour out of me. "Let's just knock him out anyways, Melzri."

"No, I believe the child will do as he says." Melzri was backing me up, even though, at this moment, I wouldn't mind being knocked out. I was in a lot of pain and wanted it to stop. "Release him, Nico."

He rolled his eyes and spun away from us, the spikes left my body, and Scythe reached a handout for me. "Thanks." I said, taking her hand, and she helped me to my feet. I was moving quite slowly now though, and I made sure to hide the bracelet I planned on using, but there was something I needed to do first. "Scythe Melzri, I am thankful that you trust me."

"You are coming with us to Alacrya now, child." Scythe Melzri spoke, and as she did, she motioned for me to follow Nico. "The teleportation gate to Teagrin Caelum is up this way, Agrona is waiting."

I paused and said. "I need the cure first, and then the deal is complete." I stopped walking, held out my hand to the Scythe, and she stared at me, then tilted her head, and the cure appeared in her hand.

"Fine." She tossed it to me, and I caught it. "Do you need to be healed? Or are you able to make the trip?" Melzri asked, and I could see that Nico wasn't for babying me, he seemed angry that she asked me that.

"I'm slowly healing, but if you have any healing potions, that would be appreciated." I said, holding the cure on my side, no longer having my mana ring.

"You'll be treated later." She said, and then faced forward, I was walking behind the two Scythes, they weren't even looking at me, they didn't care, they knew if I tried to run, I would be taken down. "If you need help, child, let me know."

"Alright." I said, slightly confused on why Melzri was being so nice to me, this had to be some act that Agrona put her up too. I wasn't minding it, I knew what I needed to do, it may be a little ruff, but this was the only way to guarantee Sylvie's safety, and my own.

First, I tossed the cure into a nearby bush softly, making sure they didn't see, and followed quickly behind the Scythes. I was still breathing, and having trouble walking, but that wasn't going to stop me. I had an image to uphold, I was a crazy fucking kid, and I still was, I needed to be crazy for what is to come.

Secondly, as we got closer to wherever we were going, I took the phoenix bracelet off, and used it to tie up my hair, thinking that was a better place to hide it from Agrona. I guess at the moment, it was good I had such long hair, otherwise tying it up would look stupid, and even now, my hair was hiding the bracelet as I tied it loosely.

"Right here should be good enough." Melzri said, and tossed a warp pad down, and Nico slowed down, then walked over to me, and placed a hand on my arm.

He was holding it pretty firmly. "I'm not letting you escape, Virion, I don't care what you know, but you could be the key to bringing Cecillia back, so I'll make sure you don't try anything."

I swatted his arm off of me. "Don't make me kill you." I said, rolling my eyes at him. "Scythe Melzri, can you control your attack dog, he's being a little bitch." Melzri turned to us and smirked at me.

"Nico, let him be, he has come this far, I don't see why he would try anything now." Melzri told Nico and he huffed. "Isn't that right, Virion." I nodded my head, returning the smirk, only mine was sarcastic, but she didn't know that.
