The Wall Pt. I

We had just arrived at the ground level of the Wall, there were a couple of soldiers there to welcome us, telling me where I should be landing. As I hovered over the spot, I dropped Boo who I had to carry the whole way here onto the ground.

Arthur jumped off of my back first as I landed, speaking with the soldiers that were there, then Ellie joined him, sliding off my wings and onto the ground next to her bond.

I could see that there was a large crowd forming to see Arthur, so I wanted to warn him. 'Arthur, be ready' My mental message was responded with a head nod, and then I transformed out of my dragon form, and into my human form.

I walked over to Ellie, who was standing straight up, making sure her posture was dignified. I think she was a little nervous, because her cheeks were red as we stood behind Arthur, and in front of the people who were staring at us.

"General Arthur." A voice that I knew said from within the crowd as he stepped forward, it was Trodius Flamesworth, and two other people stepped up as well, but I did not know who they were.

The three bowed to Arthur, and I asked him something. 'Who are the other two?'

'Albanth and female is Jesmiya.' Arthur responded as he scanned the crowd instead of speaking with the three in front of us. Ellie didn't know what to do, so she just held on to the side of Boo with her hand gripping his fur.

I don't think the people here know how big the mana beast horde is, I wonder if no one told them, even so, there was chatter about Arthur, some of them looked at him like he wasn't a Lance. I also heard a couple of this is really Lance Virion's older brother, or people judging Arthur's strength.

'You should have stayed in your dragon form; you could have brought up morale with a loud roar.' Arthur told me, I rolled my eyes, I would have if he told me, but he did not.

'You should have told me.'

'It is fine, I have an idea.' As Arthur spoke, his body changed and power grew, Realmheart became active, runes appeared over his clothing, his changed, and some people in the crowd fell to a knee from his aura, he was holding back too.

"I don't know how much I'll be needed, but I hope that my presence means that we lose less men in the overall fight." Arthur spoke to the crowd, they were silent for a second, then erupted in cheers as they clapped for my bond or screamed his name.

Realmheart deactivated, and Arthur's body returned back to normal, he then turned to Trodius and spoke to him. "Captain Trodius Flamesworth." Arthur held his hand out for him. "I didn't think I would be seeing you again so soon." Arthur spoke to him at the party right after Veer did, making sure nothing happened.

Trodius shook his hand, and then Arthur did the same thing with the other two captains. "General." The one said.

The one grabbed Arthur's hand quickly and shook it with excitement. "General Arthur, this is an honor, I am thankful for your appearance." It was the female captain, Captain Jesmiya.

"Is there a meeting room you have that we can speak in?" Arthur asked them while we walked into the base of the Wall, he also added, while walking next to one of the men, it was Trodius. "My sister came to support us, she may be young, but she is a very skilled magical archer, she could be of some use to you. I can have her show you if needed."

The man waved his arms. "No need, if you say she is good, then I'll take your word, you are a Lance after all, I won't judge your views." The man motioned for someone to come over. "I will have someone escort her, and help her out, make sure she is safe." He then whispered to the person he called over, and they ran off when he finished.
