I dragged the unconscious Retainer through the portal, and the noise grew rapidly, all the elves that they saved were reuniting with families, celebrating being set free, and just enjoying themselves.

"Lance Virion!" Someone shouted, and all eyes turned to me, I sensed a couple of mana beast in here now, but they seemed to be on a leash of some sorts. "He's done it!" They started clapping their hands, cheering my name as the council members came into view.

"Virion." Elder Virion said, stepping up first to see that I had Bilal in my hands still, and he was alive. "You did it, wow, I didn't know if a clone was going to be able to do what you did, but I'm glad you were able to do it."

"Thanks." I replied with a smile, throwing Bilal's body at their feet. "Queen Eralith, this is a gift to you." Bilal no longer had hands, his feet were left go, but I cut both his hands off cause I felt like it, he also has bruises and cuts all over his body from the elves at the camp.

She looked down at the Retainer's body in disgust but smiled up at me. "Good job, Virion." I gave her a head nod, it really wasn't anything, taking him down was pretty easy. "Guards, take this Retainer to a cell." Four soldiers came rushing over, picked Bilal's body up off the ground and took him away.

King Glayder and Queen Glayder left, not speaking a word to me, and went over to see Kathyln and Curtis, which was alright, it was good to see them alive, I didn't know if everyone was going to live or not, I assume some teams lost a few members, but I couldn't know for sure.

"How'd everything go?" I asked, but it was obvious that it went well, I could sense a lot of new people around, a lot of elves were gathered in here, but of course, there were a lot more out there, a lot of elves that I need to save before Aldir does his thing, if he ever does do it.

"We rescued six hundred elves all together." Elder Virion stated, which was a big number, a good number, that was six hundred elves that weren't being turned into slaves. "We lost four soldiers, all the Lances survived, and everything went according to plan."

"Nice." I said, looking around at everyone, the smiles on their faces, the people crying, it was a good sight. "Alright, well, have fun helping everyone." The clone of me that stays here in the bunker appeared beside me, most looked at us with a weird expression.

"I need you to go investigate this." I handed the clone of myself a piece of paper with a destination on it, he was the one who took Bilal down, I watched as he nodded his head, then backed up into a portal that had opened then vanished. "I'll be off, I'm going back to Aya's house."

"Wait." King Eralith said. "You should be here with the elves, they love you Veer, they are thankful for everything you have done." I looked around again, some of the elves were looking at me with proud looks, it makes sense, I was an elven Lance like Arthur.

"I don't know." I said, placing a hand on my neck, looking back at them, I would rather be away from everyone. "Fine, I'll show my support." I turned toward a smiling Lance; the elf came walking up to me with open arms. "Aya."

"Veer." Aya hugged me, picking me up off the ground. "I didn't know if you could handle a Retainer, but I guess I was wrong to misjudge your strength as a clone." She placed me down, leaving a hand on my head as we stood there with the council, well, the elven part of the council, I didn't know where Tessia was, never mind, I sense her helping families.

"Virion." Elder Virion said. "There are a lot of other people out there that need help, but we are going to hit our limit on how many people we bring here." He paused, causing us to look around at the mass chaos, it was loud in here, a lot of mages, a lot of people, all happy to be set free, yet sad, because they still don't have control over their continent. "We are going to have to consider other options soon enough."
