"What do you mean Retainer Draneeve is here?" I asked, looking at one of my soldiers, in the room with me was Cylrit and two men who served under me as soldiers. Virion and Ellie were in their rooms, their parents were in the dining hall, we were in the living room, speaking somewhat loudly.

"Retainer Draneeve exited the teleportation portal five minutes ago, he will be arriving here in ten minutes." The soldier said, looking at the ground as he spoke to me. "We came as soon as we heard about it, I'm sorry."

"It's fine, you can go." I waved them away and turned to Cylrit. "You know what you have to do, go bring the Leywins down in the lab and hide them, we can't have Draneeve spotting them." I turned to the balcony, the place where Draneeve would come from, a lowly Retainer as a messenger boy.

"What about the bear?" Cylrit asked. "Should I get him down into the lab too? I don't know if he will fit or not, we could also put him out in the forest, I'm sure Draneeve will think he is just a normal mana beast."

"Bring him down." I told my Retainer. "It's too risky, if there is even a hint of something off, I'm sure he'll report it to Agrona." I turned back to Cylrit. "When you do that, come back up, I don't need him thinking anything is off." I paused and thought about the clone of Virion. "I don't need Virion coming up here to kill him, it would ruin everything we have going."

"I'm on it." Cylrit said, backing out of the room, heading to grab the Leywins. I knew better, if Virion was left unattended, it would only result in bad things happening, he would go after Draneeve without second guessing, I'm just hoping this clone has the ability to hold himself back.

I stood there and waited, feeling Cylrit doing as I wished, moving the Leywins down underground, the lab was safe as long as they stayed in there, not that Draneeve was a threat, he wasn't, I could kill him with ease, but if he died here, Agrona would send someone to investigate, and it would result in the Leywins being found.

I backed up away from the balcony, making it seem like I didn't feel his approach, sitting down on the couch as I waited. This room was the place where most of my meetings went down, sometimes the Sovereign of this region would go down into the lab, but he was not the one coming.

After about five minutes of waiting, Cylrit came back into the room, it seemed like everything went according to plan. "How'd Virion take it?" I asked him, Cylrit stepped into the corner of the room, showing his respect as my Retainer, he only had to do that when we had company. "Was he mad he couldn't kill him?"

"Actually, no, he wasn't, he understood." Cylrit said, and it shocked me a little. "Yeah, they all understood, Alice told Virion and Ellie that it was your mansion, and that they had to do as you wished." I nodded, that was good, if he was okay with everything, then this should go smoothly.

"Wow." I said, looking over at him. "That was a little unexpected, but a good surprise." I turned to the balcony, Draneeve should be arriving any second now. "I'm surprised you got them down there with the bear that fast though."

"It wasn't easy, but with Ellie's help, it listened pretty well." He stated, the bear was smart, it was always observing Ellie while she trained with me, making sure she was safe. "Do you know why Draneeve is coming?"

"No." I shook my head. "It can't be for anything good, Agrona usually sends a Retainer when the message has to do with going somewhere, so I am guessing that we are going to be sent back to Dicathen." I paused, crossing my legs as I sat there. "He's probably sending everyone to capture Virion, it's his only option, except, he'll never find him if he is here, but I'll gladly go along and play the part."
