(One Week Later)

Ellie Leywin

I was sitting with Lance Bairon, Lance Aya, and Lance Varay, get this, my fellow Lances. I was still taking that in, I was a Lance, I was so happy, but I knew we were at war, or were we? It's more like a rebellion now, but without Veer here helping us, or Arthur, we don't stand a chance.

I miss Arthur, I don't even know if he is okay, I only took Veer's word for it, but I don't know if I can trust him or not. "I don't like Commander Virion's plan to just sit back." I spoke up, catching the attention of the Lances around the fire. "I understand, the asuras might be coming for us, but that is why we need to retake Dicathen."

"How do you expect us to do that?" Lance Bairon asked. "We don't have your brothers, don't get me wrong, Ellie, you are strong now, but even with your strength, I don't think we can retake Dicathen." He was looking at me with a apologetic face, wanting to retake the continent, but he knew we couldn't.

"He's right, Ellie." Aya shook her head in disappointment. "Without Veer here, and our missions to the outside world being shut down, the transition to Vritra law is basically done up there." Since Veer was gone, the attacks and rebellious fever people had was gone, and people started to settle down in their new life, not thinking they had a choice in it. "There isn't anything we can do right now."

"I was hoping one of you had an idea." I said jokingly, changing the air a little. "I guess our fate is truly in Veer's hands then." We all nodded, agreeing with this comment, but that was when a sudden aura radiated from the council room, and it startled me.

"Poof." Out of nowhere, Boo appeared, catching the Lances off guard.

"Boo, I'm fine." I said, calming myself down as I ran my hand through his fur, then looked at the Lances. "Sorry, I was startled by something, there is an aura coming from the council room, one that is pretty powerful, I don't think it is from someone who is living in the bunker."

"What?!" Aya exclaimed, flicking her head to the council room. "If it is the asuras, I am going to go and kill them!" Bairon quickly placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping the Elven Lance from doing anything stupid.

"Don't." Bairon told her. "We all want revenge, but don't do anything stupid, the only person that can go, and I don't want to say it, is you, Ellie, you are an asura now." I was okay with that, I wanted to go, I wanted to know what they wanted, they caused all this.

"No way!" Aya said. "I promised Veer and Arthur that I would protect their family, I can't just let Ellie go by herself." She looked at me, swatting Bairon's hand off of her. "We can both go, then it'll be safe."

"Or we can all go." Varay stated, speaking for the first time it felt like. "If we all go, and Ellie is with us, it won't matter." The four of us, not exchanging anymore words went toward the council room, agreeing with Varay's suggestion.

"Do you know who it is?" Aya asked. "If it's Aldir, we are attacking on sight. He was the one who blew up the Elven Kingdom, he must die!" We were now flying in the sky towards the council room, it took us about a minute to reach it.

As we landed, Bairon spoke up. "Do not attack, we don't want to start something we can't finish." Aya looked at him, but then nodded, knowing he was right. "Ellie, you have the mana barrier, go in the front so you can protect us, we will get your back with spells if we have to."

"Okay." I said, taking the order from Bairon with ease, he had a lot of battle experience, so taking his word was for the best. I made sure to step into the room first, and the sight before me caused anger to build up. "I knew it." Before me stood Windsom and Commander Virion. "I could sense that aura from across the bunker."
