Virion Leywin"Come on, hurry." I said to Tessia. "They are coming, and they need to think that you are dead." I was leading her through the tunnels, making my way to Elder Rinia's little house she had made.
"I know, I know." She said, walking quickly behind me. "Why are they coming now? It's been over a year since they abandoned us, why are they suddenly interested in what is going on?" I already informed everyone about the situation, they knew what they had to do, it wasn't that hard.
"They came for me." I said, shooting a look at the elf as I walked in front of her. "They deemed me a threat, and well, they want me to go to Epheotus with them, but that won't be happening, oh, and they are bringing an artifact that can make people white core mages."
"What?!" She exclaimed, but we kept on going. "Isn't that a good thing?"
"Oh yeah, you weren't there when I was talking to Elder Virion." I said, then turned down another tunnel, seeing Elder Rinia's home. "The artifact does make you a white core, but it also makes you a slave to Kezess, so it's a lose, lose situation."
"I see." She said, understanding that it isn't a good thing, it was a bad thing. "Wait!" She exclaimed, stopping in the tunnel, forcing me to turn to her. "They think you are a threat? What if you don't go with them to Epheotus?"
"They will kill everyone and me." I answered nonchalantly. "It's not good, I know, but it doesn't matter right now, Tess, they need to think you are dead, or they will come here to kill you themselves." I paused, shooting her a smile. "Don't worry, we'll figure it out."
"If you don't go with them, everyone dies, but if you do, everyone lives, but you become a slave." She restated, I nodded my head, telling her she was right. "That's an impossible decision, we would never let you do that for us, you know that right? You don't plan on going, right?!"
"Tess, trust me, the real me has no intentions of becoming a slave." I assured her, knowing very well that there was no chance that the real me would become a slave. "But you need to secure yourself in Elder Rinia's house, if you don't, and he senses or finds you, we will be in trouble, she knows that."
"Just promise me that you'll be okay." She told me, placing a hand on my shoulder as she spoke. "You have been carrying us on your back ever since the beginning of the war, I don't want you to bare this burden for us as well."
I rested my hand on hers. "Trust me, this is not a burden to me." I shrugged, then motioned toward the house. "Get going, I need to get there, I don't know what Windsom is going to tell them, or what Elder Virion is going to say, so I got to make sure everything is fine."
"Good luck." She said, pulling her hand off me, and walking to the house. "Remember, you don't have to do everything yourself." I shot her a fake smile as she entered the house, and I turned back down the way I came from.
I surrounded myself with lightning and wind magic, then shot myself down the tunnel, moving as fast as I could at the moment, not using all my abilities, but it only took me about one minute to get back into the bunker.
"Lance Virion." A soldier said as I landed on the ground after moving through the air at a fast rate. "They are speaking in the council chambers like you wanted." The six soldiers followed me as I started walking in that direction.
"Good." I answered him. "What of the Lances?" I asked, looking forward, no sign of emotion on my face.
"They are all in position." I nodded my head with a smirk on my face. "On your signal, they will attack the god." I could feel my hand twitching, knowing very well that a fight with Windsom would be a lot of fun.
