Fenyir and I stood on a platform, I rolled my eyes as I took in the sight of the next room, Hades started to laugh. "Are we in hell?" I spoke out loud, Fenyir still had my black cloak around her, hiding her body from the outside world.

"Hell?" She asked questioningly, but I just shook it off. "It's super hot." I was fine, but I could tell why she thought that, off the small platform were red stones, mountains in the distance, and in certain spots, a dark red fire blazed, it reminds me of what hell would be like, haha, that's so funny.

"Huh." I made a noise as I searched for blood signatures. "It appears we aren't alone." I could feel mages moving about in here, the room was very, very large, it expanded out for miles it seemed.

"It must be a convergence zone." Fenyir said, I nodded, she was right. "Should we get going, Veer?" She asked me with a smirk as she turned to meet my eyes. "Let's find the next portal and get out of this place."

I started walking, stepping off of the platform and onto the red stones on the ground, Fenyir followed me, walking beside me. "Hades." I said out loud, bringing my bond out of my body, he shot out onto the ground, expanding into his giant serpent form. "Stay out of sight, don't let the other mages see you, but try to find the portal if you can."

"On it, boss." He said sarcastically, then started slithering away from us.

"It's nice having him." Fenyir said, looking at Hades as he slithered away. "Usually in convergence zones, you have to do something with the other mages, fight together, fight against each other, team up, that's why they are called convergence zones."

"I know." I answered, looking in the direction of the seven mages I felt in the distance. "We can adventure on our own, I don't think we need them to pass this room." A red fire shot out of the ground right beside me, but I ignored it, not really minding the heat.

"Look at that." She pointed at the big mountain, well, there were a lot of big mountains, nope, they weren't mountains. "I wonder what we have to do, this place seems very large, but I am not sensing any mana beast."

"I'm not either." In all directions, all I felt were other mages, in total, there were thirteen in this zone, that was counting us. "So, Fenyir, we have a little time to speak to one another, you said you wanted to bond with me, let's get to know each other a little better."

"Oh, alright." She said, shooting a smile at me. "I mean, you've already seen parts of me most men have never seen, but I guess there is a lot to learn." I felt my face get red for some reason as I shook my head, thinking about her in the last room, and the room before that. "I'm only joking, fine, so, Veer, what's your favorite color, is it red?"

"That's a good guess." I answered her, looking forward as we walked. "Umm, well, I would say before, my favorite color was blue, but now, it is red, I have just seen so much of it, that I like it now."

"What do you mean before?" Fenyir asked, tilting her head towards me.

I turned my head toward her, locking eyes with her. "Before I saw so much blood, I use to love blue, but now I love the sight of the redness." She looked at me with a disappointed expression. "It's not a big deal, come on, it just developed that way, I didn't like the color before, but now I do."

"Fine, fine, I'll take your word for it." Fenyir and I faced forward again. "My favorite color is orange." I nodded, taking that information in, even though, well, I could care less about her favorite color, I was being nice.
