Zestier Pt. III

Virion Leywin (Clone 1)

I was walking down the street of Zestier, the houses made from trees around me, eyes of soldiers and civilians staring at me in awe. I just wanted to go for a stroll, I have been inside of that castle for a day now, not needing to go anywhere, so I never did.

The other clones were out and about, doing what we had planned, I had no clue where the real me was at the moment, but I knew he would be back with what he wanted from Alacrya, well, I should rephrase, he should be back soon, I just don't know if he will get what he wants.

Leonidas was walking behind me, keeping an eye on the people, making sure they didn't do anything to me, like they could, even if I was a clone, I was still white core, I am above them all.

This battle was taking too long to happen, but other than that, everything else is pretty much set. I was just waiting for two people to arrive, when Jasmine got here, she will take charge of everything. I just need to explain to her what she needs to do, it is a little overwhelming, but she can handle it.

"Lance Virion!" Someone shouted, and I turned toward the voice, it was a group of young girls, some slightly older than me, some younger, they were elves, packing up their things, but as I was walking by, they threw their stuff to the ground. I could see their faces light up as I waved to them, it felt good to be liked by the people.

I was in the middle of the city, I might as well head back, they don't need my help, they already have it, the other clones are hard at work. I spun around and spoke to Leonidas. "Let's head back, I could use a nice sparring session." I could spar now, as long as I had time to build my mana back up.

"Yes sir." Leonidas spun around as well, and we started walking back to the castle. I still didn't know what abilities Leonidas had, he was a mage, I could sense that he was orange core, but I didn't know what he could do.

It only took us a couple of minutes to return back, but it was a nice short stroll, the fresh air also felt good. As I entered the castle, I turned to Leonidas, curious about what he could do. "Mind me asking, what are your abilities?"

"I am a plant user, Lance Virion." He said, nodding his head. "Is there someone in particular that you would like to spar? Should I go and get Lance Aya for you? I know she was talking about it earlier."

"Umm, actually, don't do that." I told him, thinking about how I could make the most of this. "Go and grab five mages who can fight that are not doing anything important right now, I'll have them spar against me."

"Yes, of course." He started to run away but stopped. "Where are we going to spar?"

"In the front of the castle outside, there is plenty of room there to fight." I pointed to where I meant, it was what we just walked on, the location I was thinking about. "I'll make sure not to damage it too bad, not that it matters."

"Oh, okay." He ran off, and I decided to sit on the stairs. I conjured an ice sword in my hand, and as I went to plant the sword into the stair beneath me, I felt someone coming from behind me, it was Aya, she grabbed my hand before I could do anything.

"What do you think you are doing? Do not destroy this castle, you are not sparring in the front yard." Aya must have heard me speaking to Leonidas, I pulled my hand away from hers as I got to my feet and faced her.

"What's the big deal?" I asked, wondering why she cared.

"This is sacred land; you know how long this castle has been here?" I shook my head, not really caring. "Centuries." I stared at her, and the two of us went silent, then she spoke. "You don't care, don't you?"
