Virion LeywinIt was early in the afternoon, I was sitting on the couch in Aya's house, she was gone, helping others around the camp, I told her that I would rather stay here, away from people, and she was alright with it, not that she really had a choice, she wasn't my mother.
There was a council meeting about to start in a few minutes that I actually needed to get up to go to, I would rather sit and do nothing, but if they make a decision that I think is stupid, then I will have to let them know.
The council nowadays number a little higher than the original six, there was King and Queen Eralith, the Glayders, Elder Virion, Buhnd, Tess, Curtis, Kathyln, Bairon, Varay, Aya, and me, the Lances now had a say, everyone did, they knew that the way they were doing it before was stupid, so they agreed to add more members.
They didn't really say to me, at least, join us, we would love to hear what you had to say, I kind of just walked in, sat down, and spoke and listened. No one was going to say, get out, or shut up, they knew better, I would threaten their lives without hesitating, I've already done it before.
I should say, that, yes, I am staying with Aya, and she was taking care of me, even though I was a clone, both King and Queen Eralith were worried about me, offering me a place to eat if I wanted, they wanted to spend time with me if I was alone, they were acting like my parents, that much is true.
They were like my second parents, they raised me for two years, but I wasn't like Arthur, mature for my age, I had, and I'll admit this, but I needed to be doing something at all times, and my concentration, got entangled a lot, snapping from one thing to another, it's gotten better as I grew up, but even now, it happens sometimes.
I got up from the couch, and made my way out of the house, and to the council room. The bunker was loud, a lot of people up and about, talking, looking for food, just seeing what they could do around here to help out, and as I passed people, they stopped whatever they were doing and bowed.
I made sure to give them a head nod if I noticed, but everyone was doing it, not saying anything, just bowing, and when I arrived at the council hall, outside the door was Abold, the elf in charge of Elder Virion's security nowadays, an elite mage compared to the others.
"Lance Virion." He said, bowing his head. "They are inside."
"Alright." I said, walking around him and through the flap into the council room, inside sat everyone already except for the three people not coming today, Aya, Curtis, and Queen Glayder. "Sorry, I am late." I said, taking the open seat next to Tess.
"It's fine, Virion, we haven't started yet." Elder Virion told me, then looked around the room. "But with you here now, we can, no one else should be coming today." He paused, letting everyone settle in, then went on. "On today's agenda, we have finding a place to build new homes, rescuing enslaved people, and just going over everyone's assigned areas."
"The dwarves and the elite earth mages are currently doing just that." Bairon said, looking around. "They are implanting more house around the east side, and inside the tunnels, soon enough we'll have enough room to house a lot more people."
"That's good to hear." Elder Virion said, then went on as everyone turned to him. "I got word from outside that the majority of the elves are being turned into slaves, we need to do something about that, we have the manpower to send out teams, and even you, Veer, if you can, you should try to free them, and bring them here."
"Will do." I said, it feels like they want me to free more elves now, no as many humans, but then again, the elves are being slave traded, whereas the humans, not as many of them where slaves in the sense, they still did whatever the Vritra said, but they weren't being treated like the elves.
