Five Months Until Victoriad

Virion Leywin

I was currently walking on water, approaching the Epheotus border, right where Agrona said the Leviathans live, I could sense them on land and under water, it was a cool city. I could see the houses above the water, they reminded me of an old fancy building from my old world, they had spiral roofs, and different shades of colors.

I didn't look underwater yet, I didn't feel like it, but I imagine they use a lot of artifacts to help them live down there. 'Let me go under water, I'll attach myself to a mana beast and control it, so it swims into the city.' Hades said, detaching from my body and going underwater without me saying anything. 'We are one kill away from getting Sylvie back.'

'I know, good luck.' I sent him a message, remembering what Aenon looked like, shifting my body to somewhat match his, keeping my facial structure the same, my hair turned to white, with light blue tips, obviously my horns were gone, and I changed my clothing to match theirs, at least the ones I could see.

I was wearing an all-white robe, a few of them were walking on water, so I think I am fine. I hid my aura, walking from the side so they couldn't exactly see me, even the people below, I could feel their blood, they didn't seem confused in the slightest by my sudden appearance, so everything is fine.

I walked past a couple of them, about twenty yards to my side, they didn't even bother saying a word, so I kept going. I stepped onto the shore, water splashed my feet, I wasn't wearing shoes like the rest of them, and I began to walk towards the city.

We are looking for Holden, I have no clue where he is, but hey, I found Sykea with ease, or Hades did, I'll find Holden eventually. I expanded my blood search for a split second, tracking down Aenon, I knew what his blood felt like to some degree, and in that split second, I found him on shore, in a house far down the road. I wasn't going that way, I knew he was smart, so I couldn't find myself in his presence.

I got to a street, and in it, Leviathans walked, looking exactly like I thought. I received heads nod, smiles, some cranky faces from them, they seemed to be normal though. I didn't have plans besides waiting for Hades to find Holden, so I kept on wandering around. 'I know we spoke about this before, but do you trust Agrona?' Hades asked out of nowhere.

'What do you think?'

'Fair, but like seriously, we both know very well if you do this for him, he is just going to come up with another excuse not to bring Sylvie back.' I knew this, it was a flaw in this plan, I was relying on Agrona to be a man of his word, but I knew that he was going to try something.

'Trust me, I know, I get it, there is not much we can do.' I told him, smiling at a passing Leviathan female with long silver hair. 'If we succeed here, and he tells me to either do more killing, or brings Sylvie back, but tries to kill me himself, the plan is still active, I'll just attempt to kill them.'

'I like that idea.' Hades responded. 'I hate being around Agrona, he is like a dark and twisted older you.' I tilted my head, thinking about that, was that a good or bad thing, I didn't know. 'I'm in, just so you know.'

'Okay, I am just walking around up here.' I had already pulled back my blood search, not wanting to alarm anyone that I was here. In a matter of seconds, Hades was already sending me emotions. 'You good?'

'Holden is Aenon's grandson.' Hades said immediately, then went on. 'They all know who he is because he is the future leader.' I rolled my eyes, I didn't know Aenon that well, but I didn't want to kill his son. 'He's probably with Aenon right now.'
