Time flew by fast and one day I realized, that is is already a month since I got the job.
(A month and I still didn't meet the boss... in person.)
„Why do you look so sad?", asked me Sayaka in the morning.
I informed her about my worry and she replied, that I shouldn't give up.
The next day when I arrived to the second floor, my phone announced, that I got a new chat message.
„(Arisa. Come to my room. I need to discuss something with you.)"
(Boss' room? Ahh... I can finally meet her and thank her.)
I could thank her via the app anytime before, but I wanted to do that in person.
When I entered the room labeled as ‚The Boss', she was nowhere to be seen. There was just a desk, one small chair and one big one with high backrest, turned to the other side.
„Hello..."
„Please, sit down."
(Is she hiding in that big chair?)
I sat down and she was silent.
(What shall I do now?)
„Umm... thank you."
„Why?"
„For saving me in that accident before I got this job."
„I see... no problem."
She was still turned away and got silent again. It was quite an awkward situation.
„Umm... why did you call me here?"
„I wanted to ask you something. But now... it is just too embarrassing for me."
(Embarrassing? Why?)
