PREVIOUSLY;

Grace sat in the tunnel with Sophie. She knew she panicked and she ran. But she didn't know what to do. She couldn't handle it all. She looked to Sophie and sighed. "What did I do?"

NOW;

Bella looked to see Mark as he walked over to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. "Today has made me realise that you and I were always now or never."

Mark smiled. "You're cute doll. You know that?"

"Duh. Course I do. Oh! Have you seen Grace? She's MIA. And I can't find her anywhere," Bella said.

Mark shook his head. "Haven't seen her doll. You sure you're good?" He asked.

"All good. I'll see you later. I gave a Grace to find," Bella said as she turned and walked off.

Janet, the social worker was stood at a nurse's station. "Could you page Dr. Shepherd one more time?" She asked.

Ruth, the nurse sighed. "I paged him two minutes ago."

"It's really very important that I speak with him right away," Janet told her.

"He's a brain surgeon. Everyone looking for him thinks it's really very important. I'll let you know when he calls back."

Arizona and Derek were operating as Derek's pager kept going off. A nurse walked in. "You see that?" Derek asked.

Arizona nodded. "I wish I did. I can't see anything."

"Hold the nerve root retractor."

The nurse looked over at Derek. "It's yours again, Dr. Shepherd."

Derek sighed. "Why is my pager going off every 30 seconds?" He asked no one.

"Gloria's checking on it."

"His S.S.E.P. s are coming back up. There's still a lot of epidural bleeding," Derek said with a sigh.

"Dr. Shepherd, when you have a second."

Derek rolled his eyes. "Does it look like I have a second? What the hell is the problem?"

"They said it's something about your baby."

****

Derek walked over to Mark. He sighed. "Have you seen my wife or your wife?" He asked.

"Grace? No. Bella. She's over there," Mark said. He saw Bella walking over to them. "Angel. Where's Grace?"

Bella shrugged and smiled. "Haven't seen her."

"You're usually joined at the hip. Wherever she is, you're not far behind. Wherever you are, she's not far behind."

Bella rolled her eyes. She nodded. "Usually true. But I haven't seen her since I had my daily cuddle with Sophie," she told her brother as she walked off.

Owen and Derek were looking at scans. "It's a rim subdural. It'll probably reabsorb. I'm not that concerned. You should keep an eye on it," Derek told him.

Owen nodded. "Good. Everything all right?" He asked.

Derek shook his head and sighed. "Uh, Grace disappeared with Sophie," he said.
