Kaylee's POV

I looked at the clear, unmoving water. We had arrived at the 24 hour public pool after turning around and realizing I needed a swim suit.

"You okay?" Niall's voice echoed in my ears, sending chills down my spine.

"Perfect." I heavily sigh before looking up at him and smiling.

"Alright." He says, taking off his shirt, leaving him in his swim trunks. He flexed his muscles and I laughed at his show-offiness.

"Let's be the first one's in." He says, jumping up and down like a little kid. He takes my hand and leads me to the diving board leading into the 10 foot pool.

"What are we-"I start to ask before he hoists me up onto his back. "Oh god. Holy fudge." I say, realizing what was going to go down.

Us.

"Ready?" He asks. I take a deep breath as to signal a yes and he jumps. I feel the water envelop me and Niall's grip loosen. I slip away, falling to the bottom and kicking myself back to the surface.

"Niall?" I worridly ask, looking around and seeing no sign of him. "A-" I start to scream before I get pulled under the water.

I feel somebody's arms wrap around me and I open my eyes, finding them meet Niall's bright blue ones. I soon feel his lips on mine, air being pushed into my mouth. We both swim to the top. I raise an eyebrow as he pulls me into his arms.

"What was that for?" I ask.

"I was pratcing for... survival." He says, turning me around from the commotion to face him. I roll my eyes and kiss him.

"I'm going to go get a drink. Want one?" He asks, already swimming away.

"Yeah!" I holler after him.

I look around and see everybody was just chilling. Not really doing anything. It was all calm and peaceful.

BAM

I heard the heavy iron gate hit the metal fence beside it forefully. I look over to see Niall still standing at the bar, ordering food probably. There were now 3 dudes. They looked like bikers who were going for a swim. I silently decided to stay out of their way.

I got tired of the pool and climbed out, getting into the hot tub, making sure Niall saw me and I laid my head back, closing my eyes. I felt somebody else get in but ignored it.

"Hello sweet cheeks. What's a fine looking girl like you doing all alone?" I hear a gruff voice speak, then a hand touching my thigh. I jerk away, eyes flying open, looking at the attackers. The lead guy of the gang that had come in was sitting back, staring hungrily at me, and flexing his muscles.

"I'm not alone. I came here with my friends and husband for a welcome home party." I spit out at him.

"Oh. Feisty. Where have you been?" He seductively asks, and failing.

"On tour."  I simply state, seeing Niall waiting for our drinks and his food.

"And where is this uh... Husband of yours?" He asks, acting like the words were sour.

"Getting snacks." I say annoyingly.

"That means he won't see this?" He asks, leaning in. I get out of his reach. "Come on babe. One little smooch." He pouts.

"Um. Hell no." I say. I am never cussing again. That was.... Uggh.

I see him get out of the hot tub and come for me.

"Ni!" I shout, hoping he hears me.

"You're all mi-"

"Lay a finger on her, and you will wish we weren't an hour away from the nearest hospital." I hear Niall grumble. I run into his open arms.

"I-I'm sorry man." The guy says before running out.

"I'm sorry." I sobbed.

"It's okay." He says before pressing his lips on mine.

Liam's POV

We had retired to the flat. I nervously held Emily's hand as our decision ran through my mind 100 miles an hour.

"G-Guys." I say, trying to get the attention of the shouting crowd of boys and girls huddled around the TV.

"Guys." I say a little bit louder.

Still nothing.

"Guys!" I say for the third time. Barely hearing myself over the screams.

"GUYS!" Emily shouts. All heads whip around towards us. I feel her put her head on my shoulder and squeeze my hand reassuringly.

"We." I clear my throat. "We made a decision. And we think it's for the best." I gulp. I see Corbyn tense up and Louis' hand she was holding turn white. "We think it'd be best to not really see each other until the wedding." I squeak. Jaws drop.

"But. But. Emily!" Kaylee whines, clinging onto Niall.

"Come on guys. Think about our lives before they came knocking on our doors. I was a whole less protective, we were more wild. Don't you want to go back to that? Just for a few months?" She says. Apparently she made a good point because everybody started nodding their heads at that.

"Good." I say, turning towards her, leaving the others to discuss it. I see tears come into her eyes. "Shh shh. Don't cry. It's okay. They won't agree if you cry." I say, hugging her.

"I'm sorry. Hormones are really acting up right now." She laughs.

"I will miss you. Tons and tons. But I think it's-"

"For the best so we can have some boys and girls time alone. I know. I know. I was the one who asked about it." She finishes. I smile, entranced by her blue eyes.

"Liam.'' She suddenly says, making me jump.

"Yes?" I ask.

"Who's the best man going to be?" My smile fades as I ponder it.

"Well this wedding thing is harder than I thought." I mumble. I hear her giggle. "Who's the maid of honor going to be?" I ask. Her own eyes widen.

"I honestly don't know. I'm not that attached to any of them." She claims.

I glance at my watch. It showed 6:52. I sighed and looked up at her. Her face showed she knew what was about to come. I quickly snogged her before pulling away from her eyes.

"Okay guys. It's time for us to head out." I announce, walking towards the door. It was 5 minutes until all the boys showed up.

"Bye! See you at the wedding practices!" I hear as I walk out the door, not looking back, knowing it will pain me.

We got way too attached to these girls. More attached than we should've. This time off will do us good...
