**Authors Note:

I couldn't wait. I was trying so hard to wait till tomorrow or at least midnight haha but I failed. I am just so excited to release this chapter and for you guys to read it. I'm not going to lie, I teared up a little while writing.

So this one does close the battle and we will continue on to the truth and all that. Which I'm equally excited for.

Expect some great things in future chapters! I hope you're all just as excited as I am!

So without further delay please vote, comment and of course enjoy!

Rin's jutsu was both terrifying and amazing. Many of the Akatsuki members, myself included, never got to see the extent of her abilities. Even in her fight against Deidara, she was limited by the restraints of her illness. Sure she used to use dark jutsu on Hidan regularly but that was child's play compared to this. This was true power, and while I doubted it when she first arrived this was proof enough that she was on the same level as her brothers. The dome was large and I could no longer see where it began or ended. I could make out Itachi from the light his Susanoo emitted and Rin standing before him, that eight-headed serpent before her.

"What is she planning" I muttered as she began the second set of hand signs. Itachi's hand was on her shoulder and only fell when her gaze met the snake.

"Amaterasu" I stared in amazement as the white snake was covered in flames. I wasn't even aware that Rin had awakened her mangekyo. The serpent withered in pain, unable to regenerate fast enough to compensate for what Rin was destroying. Finally, one head rose above the rest. The mouth opening wide and a figure slowly sliding out.

"Wait, is that..." But I knew exactly who it was. None other than Orochimaru. I noticed Rin gasp as she held her hand over her eyes, she dropped to her knees and I heard a loud crack. I glanced up and winced at the sunlight that managed to pour in. It was only then that I realized a fine black mist covered the air within the dome.

"It's everywhere" I muttered, too long in this and I would begin to feel the effects. The sound of laughter brought my attention back to Orochimaru who was in the process of pulling a sword from his throat.

"Gross fellow as always, regurgitating stuff out of his mouth like that" I muttered. Always slithering around like the snake he is.

"This is it; this is what I've been waiting for. Thanks to you the repressive chakra is gone" He shouted but Rin was already finishing another set of hand signs.

"Dark Art" She started and cracks begin to form in the walls.

"Shadow Poison Dart Jutsu!" The dome burst into thousands of pieces. The sun was briefly blinding as it poured in but Rin's eyes were closed, there was blood dripping down her cheeks. Itachi still stood behind her but even his eyes were watching as the pieces of the dome began to fade while others shaped into needles, thicker than the ones she had used against Sasuke.

"I see your mastery of the dark chakra has grown exceptionally" Orochimaru noted. Rin smirked as she finally opened her eyes.

"You will never harm me or my family again, this is your end" She said coldly. She crossed her arms across her body and the needles followed sinking into Orochimaru's skin. His sword clattered to the ground and he screamed as his flesh turned black, burning under the influence of dark chakra. Rin looked at Itachi and nodded. Itachi was quick to respond as he thrust his hand forward and the sword of the Susanoo followed piercing Orochimaru through the chest. I could hear his laughter as the aura engulfed him.
