Chapter 51...I can't-

Jade POV

"Wait what?" I asked myself..Perrie's asking me out? Like for real?...
"Oh my Gosh, is this really happening?"
I muttered lowly...
My mind went blank after that, of course I would say yes!
Then I saw Perrie's face looking so worried, so I decided to go play along with it.

I slowly walked downstairs and tried my hardest to flash a fake sad look on my face, but of course deep inside, I was absolutely overjoyed!
I didn't know this would ever happen to me.
I took a deep breath and unlocked the door. The minute it swung open, I saw Perrie's head instantly shoot up and her gaze met mine.
She was smiling sweetly, but it was obvious that her smile wasn't as happy as before, I mean why would she be after someone you asked out looks like she's gonna reject you.

"Hey!" I heard Perrie say when she saw me walking down the front porch steps.
"Hi...uhmm..I thought you knew how much I can't-" I started but got interrupted.
"It's okay Jade, I understand." Was all she said as she immediately went in to give me a light hug but it turned out to be longer than I expected.
"I'll wait for you, and I want you to know that." Perrie whispered as she rested her head on my shoulder.
Her right hand was gently rubbing my back while the other one was holding the guitar.

Oh no! Now I feel bad! I should have told her already.
"Perrie it's just that,-" I tried but then got cut off.
"Shhh...you don't have to explain." Perrie cooed.
"No, you didn't even let me finish what I was gonna tell you." My voice came out softly.
"You don't have to...I'm not mad Jade." Perrie said.
"I-I thought you knew..." I said as my hands wrapped around her waist.
"I do." She replied.
"How much I can't say no to that!" I continued, still using the same sad tone.

I felt Perrie's body got tensed, making her lift her head up to meet mine.
"What? A-are you s-saying that you..." she trailed off, and this time, the happiness that I've been trying to hide accidentally slipped out of me.
I couldn't help it anymore.
So I nodded in response and answered a "Yes" but my voice actually squeked making me quickly cover my mouth in embarassment.

"Shit! No!" Perrie exclaimed as she accidentally almost dropped her guitar after she realized what I just did to her.
"Oh my Gosh Thirlwall!" Perrie half yelled as her cheeks started turning pink.
"You got me so worried, I thought you were gonna say no! Oh my gosh, shit! My heart!" Perrie said relieved.
Her reaction was priceless!
"I know I'm sorry come here!" I told her as I hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry really really" I said as my hands rubbed her back just so she would calm down.
"Don't ever do that again! You got me wishing for the ground to swallow me up!" Perrie confessed.
What she said made me giggle.

"Of course I would go out on a date with you! I just can't believe you fell for that!" I told her.
"Well you sounded pretty convincing though.." she confessed as she once again wrapped her arms around me.
"I know, well I did my best!" I said playfully sounding proudly.
" Yeah yeah...whatever, I hope you know how happy you make me Jade." She said.
"Well you don't know how much I struggled to be so sad when deep down I was actually jumping with joy!" I said truthfully.
"Oh really?!" Perrie said as she turned her head to meet my eyes.
She was smirking, so I only rolled my eyes at her making her giggle in response.

"So it's a date then?" Perrie asked.
"Yes, it's a date!" I confirmed.
"Okay... sooo..how about I pick you up tomorrow at 4 pm?" She asked.
"Uhh..whatever you say!" I replied smiling.
"Cool!" Perrie exclaimed.
"So what should I wear?" I asked.
"Just normal clothes really, I'm taking you someplace else..." Perrie answered.
"What do you mean normal clothes Perrie?" I asked almost laughing.
"Oh sorry, what I meant was casual or anything you're comfortable with..oh and don't forget to bring your parka, it might get cold" She said as she let go off me.
"Cold?" I asked cocking an eyebrow.
"Yup!" She replied popping the P.
"Where are you taking me Edwards?" I asked.
"Not telling! It's for you to find out!" She answered as her head started leaning in for a kiss but instead I moved my head backwards.
"Sorry, you won't have any for now!" I said causing her to pout.
"For now? Oh, so you mean...I get to have one tomorrow?" She asked as she once again moved closer.
"Hmm..maybe...well it depends really!" I answered while pretending to think deeply.
"Oh, I'll make sure of it!" Perrie said as she wiggled her eyebrows.
