55. I wrote the first song myself ^w^

"Let us walk along the beach,
Dancing on the shore...

Together forever more..."

You sang as you skipped through the halls of the castle.

"Let us watch the sunset,
Standing hand in hand...
Let us stay close together,
Feet sinking in the sand...

Let us stay an eternal pair,
Never for a second apart...
Let us stay in each other's arms,
For you hold the key to my heart...

Let us laugh together,
You are the reason for my smile...
Let us do the hard work as one,
For you, I'll go the extra mile...

Let us be happy,
Living with you is my one demand...
Let our sadness fade away,
Your wish is my command..."

You twirled as you rounded the corner, but stopped when you heard music.

Lance was singing along to the song "Lucky" by Jason Mraz:

"Do you hear me... talking to you?
Across the water...
Across the deep...
Blue...
Ocean...
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying..."

You walked around the corner and into the room, singing the next verse:

"Boy, I hear you in my dreams...
I feel your whisper across the sea....
I keep you with me in my heart...
You make it easier when life gets hard..."

You walked closer to Lance, spinning in circles, and the two of you began to sing together:

"Lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been

They don't know how long it takes

Lance stepped away, making various hand gestures with the words.

He pushed a strand of your hair back, and you laughed before you began the next verse:

"Through the breezes through the trees
Move so pretty you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round

The two of you clasped hands and began to dance as you sang the final verse:

"Lucky I'm in love with my best friend...
Lucky to have been where I have been...
Lucky to be coming home again...
I'm lucky we're in love in every way...
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed...
Lucky to be coming home someday...

The song came to an end and Lance stepped back, putting his hands on his hips. "How was that for a confession?"

You smiled, "I don't know. How was my confession?"

"Okay, two things," Lance laughed. "One, it was obviously my confession 'cause I set up the song, and two, that was so cheesy it triggered my dairy allergy."

You laughed with him, "You don't have a dairy allergy, Lance."

"Doesn't matter," Lance smiled and held out his hand, "May I have this next dance, my lady?"

You laughed again, "There's no music, dum dum."

"Oh, right!" Lance pressed play for the next song, "Now may I have this dance?"

You smiled, "Of course," and took his hand.

Lance deserves some love... I love that song
