I hear someone burst through my room, "Suyung! Wake up! We're gonna be late if you stay in bed any longer." it was Jaehee.

I yawned and slowly pulled down the sheets, seeing her dressed in a simple dress, her hair and makeup done, and she was looking all so pretty! I grabbed my phone from the bedside table and checked the time.

'10:13'

"It's only 10AM." I groaned, throwing the sheets above my head and trying to go back to sleep, until I felt her tug on the edge of the blanket, pulling it off of me.

"Come on, Suyung." she clicked her tongue and placed her bag on my drawer, taking out items such as hairspray, clips, and vice versa. She held up her fingers, "We need to get your hair, your makeup, and your nails done."

I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "The prom starts at 5!"

She smiled. "That makes it better! I can take my time."

"No." I whined, laying down again and placing a pillow on my face. My friends really liked barging inside my room and furiously waking me up, do they?

She grabbed the pillow from me, "Come on. This is the first and last prom we'll be having with Yoongi and Seokjin. And besides, wouldn't you want to look pretty for Taehyung?"

I rolled my eyes and looked up at her. "They'll be fine - we still have a long way to go. And as for Taehyung, I'm pretty sure he won't mind me looking average."

She lightly tugged on my hand, "Average? Psh. I'm your only girl best friend, I might as well make you look 100% presentable in prom! And I'm so in to seeing his reaction finding you so pretty! He wouldn't be able to resist you."

I sighed and grabbed some clothes from my closet. "I'm gonna take my time in the shower then."

She pouted. "No! Your maximum time is 5 minutes. I need to start working on your nails!"

I couldn't help but smile at her excitement. I mean, it wasn't everyday she visited me just to let me prep for prom.

I walked out of the bathroom and immediately got guided to a seat by a very excited Jaehee. She started by brushing my hair, before grabbing another chair and sitting beside me.

"I want to paint your nails pink," she said, handing me a case. "Since it would suit the white dress the best, but you can choose. Or are you going to go with my idea?"

She was the fashionista between both of us. So I handed her back the case and smiled. "I'm going with pink. I'm trusting you!"

She grinned and pulled out two different shade of pink nail polish, for what reason, I had no idea, but she seemed to know what she was doing. "You better!"

-

"See?" she moved some hair out of my face and smiled at our reflection. I couldn't help but admire myself. She actually did a good job this time - and I was lucky the dress was comfortable enough for me.

My hair was loose and curled, so I looked different. She added natural makeup, which was actually pretty cute, and painted my nails pink like we talked about.

"Now," she bended down and pulled up a pair of heels. "All you have to do is wear these."

"What?" I blinked a few times as she assisted me to sit down on the edge of my bed. Believe it or not, I've never tried stilettos before. It was about 4 inches tall. "Unless you want me to fall face-first, then yes."

"Word of the day: Come on." she groaned, handing me the heels. "You're not going to fall. Yoongi isn't necessarily clumsy, and you'll get used to it. It matches your outfit as well. It's only for a night!"
