"Wake her up." I motioned, walking inside with a glass of water and some medicine. Taehyung slightly tilted his head and lightly shook Nami's shoulders.

"Nami.. it's time to drink your medicine." he cooed, before moving away to give me some space. He gently grabbed the glass from me as Nami sat up, rubbing her eyes. I smiled and poured the medicine on the spoon.

"Will it taste bad?" she frowned. "I don't like how it tastes."

"You'll be okay." Tae reassured, as my hand was already trembling from holding the spoon. She flashed me and Taehyung a sad look, but drank her medicine.

Immediately, he moved to let her drink the water. "See? It wasn't that bad, right?"

She nodded slowly, before laying down. I pulled the covers up to her chin and pressed a kiss on her forehead, "Just call for me and prince if you need something, okay?"

It didn't take too long that her soft snores was heard. I sighed and laid my head on the side of the bed. Taehyung sat beside me.

"Tired?" he asked, his face so genuine my heart couldn't help but skip a beat. "Yuna, you should go to sleep."

I shook my head, "It's still early. And I'm gonna have to wake Nami up in a few hours. She needs to eat dinner."

"And you need to cook dinner," he added, which sounded more of like a question. He stayed quiet for a while, before cracking a smile. "Hmm.. don't think I forgot about changing your bandaid! Where's the first aid kit?"

I rubbed my eyes and made my way to the closet, handing the box to him. I watched as he dug through the kit, trying to find a certain gizmo. I perked up in panic when he pulled out the alcohol.

"Do we need this?"

"N-No!" I said quickly. "Taehyung.. I can do it on my own. I just have to take it off, clean it with a damp cotton, and replace the bandaid. That's it."

Right after I told him that, he was already on his way to the bathroom to wet the cotton. I couldn't help but smile on how sweet he was being.

He came back and sat in front of me.

"Does it still hurt when you smile?" he asked, gently taking off the bandaid. I felt the cold air hit my scar.

"Not much." I replied. He started dabbing the cotton on the scar.

He giggled like a little kid, "Now you have two scars on your face! It's adorable."

"You find everything adorable." I responded. Soon, he was already placing the new bandaid. He puts it back inside the closet.

"Yes. That's because everything about you is adorable." he added, before turning to Nami. "I really want her to eat as well, but when I'm sick, I don't really have any appetite. I'd rather rest."

Well, I guess he was right about that. I sighed and laid my head on the side of my bed again.

"In a scale of 1-10," I started, tilting my head. "How excited are you for your birthday?"

"An 11!" he exclaimed, but not loud enough for be a disturbance. "I'm excited to meet up with everyone! And I'm okay even if it's just in Jungkook's hospital room.. and we get to talk and hang out! And we get to be happy.."

Was my gift going to be enough?

I stood up and made my way to my drawer, pulling out an ever so familiar black notebook, which I handed to him.

"It's 2 days before the 30th of December." I said, sitting beside him on the ground. "Happy Birthday."

He didn't open the notebook. Instead, he frowned and turned to me. "Yuna.. this is an early birthday gift, right?" he grinned.
