Kailen's POV:

"Rocky is playing for Perth!" Caroline yelled.

"Sky Blue girls taking over the world." I smiled.

"Has John called people up yet?"

"He's started calling a few people."

"You?"

"Not yet. Y/N either."

Your POV:

"Australia?" I looked at everyone. "For real?"

"Yeah. Perth wants you for the offseason."

"This is crazy." I looked at the table. "But the national team?"

"Hasn't called you up yet. This is a big opportunity."

"It is, but so is this camp coming up."

"You don't even know if you're going yet."

"Can I think about it? I need to think about it."

I left and called Kailen.

"Y/N!" She screamed. "You hear the news?"

"No?"

"Rocky is joining Perth for the offseason!"

"Perth? Wow. That's crazy." I nodded. "Really crazy." I mumbled.

"You good?" She asked.

"I'm great! So great. How are you?"

"I'm doing great. Packing up, OH! John's calling!" She said. "I have to take this!"

"You have to! Call me after!"

"I will do that! Wish me luck!"

"Good luck!" She said bye and hung up. I threw my phone to the side and laid on my bed.

Perth...... Canada......

Canada...... Perth......

Kailen's POV:

"Yes! Vancouver. I will be there. Can't wait. Thanks, John." I hung up. "Getting called in NEVER gets old!" I smiled.

"Man. This season has been wild but I can't wait to go home." Leah said putting bags down.

"I can't either." I smiled. "Home sweet home."

I told Y/N about the call up. She was happy for me but I knew something else was going on. Days went by and she stopped responding. John called more people, and the squad was coming together.

Everyone was called, but it wouldn't be announced till it was close to the match.

"Y/N get called?" My mom asked. "I don't know. Is she home yet?" I looked across the street.

"No. Her mom said she's still in Orlando taking care of some stuff."

I looked at her. "Stuff? She would've told me."

"You guys are professional athletes. If she can't even tell her mother, I don't think she can tell you, Kailen." She walked out of the room.

I looked back at the L/N house.

What kind of stuff.

Your POV:

"No call-up." I sighed. "Alright. Let's go Perth." I smiled.

My hours aren't that bad this week, so I might be able to update a little bit more.
