Kailen's POV:

"Y/N!" I ran to her. "I missed you!"

"Wow." She pushed me back. "What are you doing?"

"Why are you pushing me away?"

A random girl walked up behind her. "Who's this?" 

"This is Kailen. Kailen this is my girlfriend."

"Girlfriend? What about me? What about us?"

"You took too long and then I met her." She smiled. 

"KAILEN!" 

I jumped up in bed. "I'm awake!"

"You ok?" Steph asked. 

"Yeah." I looked around. "I'm great." I sighed. "What time is it?"

"Time to get ready and meet up with the team. You sure you're ok?"

"Yeah. I'll be right now." I said getting out of bed. 

Your POV:

"It's GAME DAY!" I jumped on Sam. "For us and for my wonderful home of Canada."

"Right she's Canadian. I would know if she was NICER!" Amanda said.

"I'm gonna lock you two in a room together and won't let you out till you get along." Nikki said. 

"We'd miss the rest of the season." Amanda said.

"Wow." I smiled. "She's so confident that we'll never get along. You'll be my best friend by the time the season ends."

"No. I won't." She walked away. 

We all sat and watched the Canada vs USA game. 

"Where's Kailen?"

"On the bench." Sam laughed. "My little benchwarmer." 

I shook my head. 

Kailen's POV:

After the game, we went back to the hotel to relax before we traveled to the USA.

I got ready for the Perth game.

"Aren't you tired?" Jessie walked into the room.

"Yeah," I answered while staring at the screen. "completely exhausted from sitting on the bench."

"I hate you." She laid down. "No screaming."

"No promises." The match started.

Your POV:

"Fuck." I sat down after the game. 

"That wasn't fun." Rocky sighed. 

"We'll bounce back." Sam smiled. "I feel it." 

"That's my butt." Nikki rolled her eyes.

"Not sorry." Sam smirked.

"Oh god." Amanda looked away.

After we all left I called Kailen on Skype. "Hi." I smiled.

"Hey. Tough game."

"You saw?"

"Haven't missed a match yet." She smiled. "Gotta support my girl."

"Your girl." She looked down. "You ok?"

"You haven't met anyone out there have you?"

"Well yeah, I met a few cool people-"

"No I mean like MET anyone?"

"You're asking if I found someone new?" She nodded. "No, I haven't. And I don't plan on looking either. I've got this amazing girl waiting for me back home." 

"Tell me about her."

"She's beautiful. And a goalkeeper."

"Goalkeepers are hot." Kailen smirked.

"And she's insanely cocky." She laughed. "With the prettiest smile and laugh."

"Does she make you happy?"

"More than she'll ever know. It's late. You should get some sleep." 

"I can sleep on the plane. I wanna talk to you."

"Kailen."

"Please? Just an hour?"

"Fine but then you're going to sleep."

"Yes, mom." She laughed.
